Having some skills, I ended up installing the product myself and it wasn't' that difficult. However, I didn't end up using the included directions from the supplier. There is some small print in the instructions that says you may need a spring compression tool to rotate the shock inside the strut. Well, you absolutely will need to rotate the the spring. Don't bother with the locally rented spring compressors as they won't do the job. I ended up watching a Youtube video on how to easily decompress the spring using a floor jack & it was a much simpler method than the instructions laid out. While I don't recommend this method publicly, it was very easy & safe to do. I finished the job in less than 90 minutes only because I took my time on the first side. It was recommended by reviewers to realign the truck after install and I did so. However, the alignment was still perfect so nothing had to be done. I guess it's a 50/50 chance on that one. Put this kit on my wife's 2016 4-runner 2wd, because I can't stand the nose dive look. Was pretty easy to install with the instructions that came with it. Their was only thing that I had to do that the instructions left out. The two bolts holding the sway bar needed to be taking loose from the frame. This allowed the sway bar to move out of the way, making it much easier to remove the struts. Very happy with the results. ... show more

Great lift for a great price. Delivered a week early. Had one issue due to lack of experience, the spacers where only 1" thick. I emailed through amazon and got a response a hour later. They kindly explain that it was going to level it out due to the angel of the the control arm and give me a 2" level. After doing some quick research I found out that statement was accurate. Install took 2 hours and my 4Runner looks great. I work at a toyota dealership and will recommend this product and company to every customer. Thank you. ... show more

Exactly how it was described, easy install only took me 2 hours. So far so good. I will have to get an alignment but that was obviously expected. Great product. Would highly recommend for a cheap 3” lift
