Did not come with Star. Suggest wearing gloves when assembling. As I received tiny slivers of foil, tinsel, or glass in my hands when assembling. It is a cute tree though.

This tree was so easy to put up and I put the led bead lights that is multi colored. It's just to cute its took me a minute to adjust from using a white tree 4ever. It's not skimpy just take time shaping the branches. Happy Holidays!

The tree comes in 3 parts and it was pretty fun putting the little ornaments on. It is made of glossy tinsel so it sparkled under the lights. The included light string is pretty meh, the lights barely show even in a dimmly lit room only in the dark can you really see them. As expected it made her very happy. No timer on lights means you will burn through batteries unless you go shut the light yourself after your kid is sleeping, or before you go to bed, depending on use. Perfect tree for kids.
