First, impression was somewhat positive. I like the blow mold case a lot, it is not overly large. It looks slick and sharp but also sturdy. I did not care for the layer of oil on the sockets. These are impact sockets and would have the black oxide finish to resist corrosion and rust, so why dirty your customer’s hand? I do like the laser etching, but the engraving of the size of each socket is a big plus (the engraving of CHROME VANADIUM on each socket is really unnecessary, just do CR-V). I compared the engraving of these sockets to a socket from harbor freight and although the harbor freight brand socket has a more delicate engraving and look fancier, the deep cut of the engraving on these socket serves it purpose and don’t look bad at all. When I compare the wall of the socket, both 19mm, the Artipoly is much thinner. Since the harbor freight is a 1/2 socket, it may not be a good comparison, so, I checked my chrome socket of the same size. Turns out the wall of the chrome socket and these are very much alike. Originally, I was a little worried about that, but after reading some article on the web, I found out a lot of modern impact socket is of the same size as the chrome in thickness. I have only owned the set for some weeks and have only used them a few times. Mostly to take out lug nuts and small bolts here and there. They worked well with my impact wrench and they seem to hold up just fine. If you are a pro or someone who would use these tools on daily basis, I would suggest go for a heavier duty set, otherwise, I think the average DIYers will be happy with it considering the value you get for the price. ... show more

I've had this set since 2020 and it is still complete. Never broke one or had any issues with them and I've snapped thick 8.8 bolts with them. I like the thin walls (makes it easier to get into wheel stud holes and alike). When I bought them they were 37.99 so the price is still about the same. I would buy again but I don't think I'll ever have to buy another set.. also bought a set of 1/2 inch tekton short well sockets (chrome, but I still use them on my impact when I need to and never had an issue) that I've had since 2020 but am missing my 13mm out of it. ... show more

I work as a mechanic both at a shop daily and at home with my own business...I bought 1 set of these sockets bout 8 months ago used them daily on high end impacts air(Cornwell, Mac, i.r)..and as well as daily on my dcf894 dewalt and the monster dcf899...only jus broke the 21 last week...I ordered another whole set because y not for 50 bux...I also broke the swivel within 6 months of almost daily use but only the spring technically the swivel still works lol...I also jus noticed that this set is 100 percent a THIN WALL IMPACT SOCKET SET...it is a great hidden feature for your money every other impact socket I own is way beefier...yet like I said they hold up extremely well...if I can use them daily for 8 months with high torque impacts and only break the 21 ..I'll take it ... show more
