I had to remove equipment from computer bays and one company had installed FLAT HEAD screws that could not be removed with any of my hammer drills or hand screwdrivers. I faced DOZENS and hadn't been able to remove a single one. When I hit send to order this, I found one that I already owned, but the bits aren't exactly standard so figured this will be a nice backup. It is DEF worth the price. *IF YOU HAVE PROBLEMS* - this worked for me. Granted I didn't have a good hammer so used a hitch and ball from my truck. With a small sledge or deadblow, this would be cake. I was hitting the wrench and the setting would change to in between loose/tight, or entirely change. I'd reset and hit it. I was trying to keep the wrench in the middle of the screw and hitting it while holding the wrench straight. ---THE TRICK--- is to keep pressure on the wrench in the direction you want to go. So LIGHTLY twist it counter-clockwise before you hit it. And you don't need to hit it that hard. After a few screws - even using an awkward hitch/ball, two quick blows while keeping the tension CCW, I could set the hitch down and loosen the screws. The bit still looks fine after removing dozens of screws and even though I have a 'good' impact wrench, this kit is all together in a nice box ready to go.

I have used it a few times now and it works great. I chose this one over the more expensive 3/8" and 1/2" version because it had more sizes of Phillips bits and that was my main purpose. Besides it was cheaper and I already have an adapter if needed. Seems well made and sturdy. The case is nice too.

Lost treasure! I had one of these years ago. So, the screws to adjust a door threshold were just frozen. No way a hammer drill would get these out! This bad boy got the all un-stuck in NO TIME. A great tool to have. Just the right tool to have hidden your tool box.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Overall this is a great value, but I would recommend buying replacement bits as the ones provided are not very durable against impact and break a little too easy!

I haven't had a chance to use this yet but it seems to be built pretty good. I purchased ot to bring to work so I didn't have to bring my SnapOn one from home. Only thing I wish was different is the box. It comes in a really nice sturdy metal box which is nice except around here things get tossed and dropped. I'm just hoping the box doesn't get bent up and stops closing. A plastic one would hold up better but then the hinges usually break on those from opening and closing. I still fave it 5 stars because it's quality and price is very good.

Had three #3 phillips-head screws that were seized. I had already rounded them off. I thought I would have to grind the heads down and use ezy-outs to remove them, which would have been an unwanted job. But, I remember as a kid, my dad having one of these....So, bought it and voila with hardly any effort, it released the screws fast and easy to my amazement. Worth every penny, it got the job done

DIYer MUST HAVE! I do miscellaneous projects around the house and on my car, and this gem of a tool has saved my butt TIME AND TIME AGAIN. This is especially great for getting things that are seized loose. The hammering/pressure helps knock the rust loose and shock bolts and the rotation does the rest! Easy to switch from clockwise/counter clockwise. Durable! Ive whacked it with a regular hammer, a mallet, and a sledge hammer, and this hasn't degraded at all! It is on the bigger size but I feel like it needs to be in order to work like the machine it does!
