  • This stuff is awesome, but use Cosclay instead if you need flexibility.
Size: 1500g Color: White
This stuff is the best. Easy to mold and craft with to produce costume props and components. You can mix colors together, or paint with a decent primer. Hell, you can even mix other substances into it to change the final consistency. However, there are a few warnings I must give for using this! First, store DRY after mixing with a small amount of water. It can grow moldy. Second, when dried, it has less durability and more rigidity than EVA foam. It will dent if you hit something, it is NOT flexible, use Cosclay if you need flexibility and high durability. Third, it’s very heavy wet compared to dry, which you have to account for when molding it. Fourth, you need a good primer or else any paint will crack or chip, and you should only paint when dry and mostly set. Fifth, if you get any color besides white, the color can leech into the water used to mix in. ... show more

  • Super pliable & easy to work with
Size: 500g Basic pack Color: White
This was my first experience with foam clay. I love how lightweight it was on the finished item. While making a number of trim pieces and embellishments for a single item, the weight (and balance) of the finished item were a concern. No worries though - those elements barely added any weight at all. I bought & opened this package in December. I didn't open again for several months, and finally pitched it after spotting faint mold discolorations yesterday (in the final days of May). That's an incredible opened-pkg "shelf life" compared to homemade cold porcelain. My only "complaint" is that detailing and edges produced (from the individual molds) are the tiniest bit softer than homemade or commercial air-dry clays. And that attribute just lent a gentle "weathered" quality to my molded elements, which were simply perfect on the finished product. Had I not seen the same embellishments made from other air-dry clays, I wouldn't likely have even noticed this subtle difference. And speaking of differences: The final finished clay work is like tough, rubberized foam. Sealing the piece provided additional reinforcement. While it's nothing you'll be cutting diamonds with, the foam clay was a great option to embellish a hand-made, customized gift. Bonus: If the recipient drops the finished item, or even drops something on it that makes contact with this finished, dried foam clay, the chance of breakage or cracking of the embellishments is virtually zero. I'm very happy with this product's performance and won't hesitate to buy it again for similar applications. ... show more

  • amazing cosplay foam clay!
Size: 1500g Color: White
Awesome cosplay foam clay!! taking it out of the package, it feels a bit like silly putty. i recommend kneading it very well (stretching it out and folding it on itself several times, until it's warmed up) I didn't do too good a job of flattening it, but it can do so very well - I was just in a hurry. It sands VERY well! I used a dremel, though regular sandpaper works as well - just takes a while to sand. It's important to note that it doesn't stay up on its own, this stuff works best when putting it on a base. I used upholstery foam. It doesn't stick too well before it dries, so I used a tiny bit of hot glue here and there to keep it in place. Once it dries it sticks perfect! Spray paint also works very well on it! I didn't even get through the entire package, i still have about 1/3 of it left for this giant cosplay skull i did. HIGHLY recommend this stuff. Important to note; this stuff takes a while to dry fully! I'd give it 3 full days before working on sanding or painting it. The thinner it is, the quicker it dries, though. ... show more

  • Fun , but limited
Size: 500g Color: Black
If you are deciding whether this clay might be useful, buy the smaller size. I bought the 1.1 lb size, and I don't know if I will ever use it all. Pros: light, soft, fun to play with, has about an hour of work time before it starts to harden too much to manipulate. Would be fun for kids. Air dries after about 48 hours. Cons: a bit too soft, and the sculpted object will not hold its shape until about after an hour, so it's difficult to support a piece in that time if it has vertical elements. It also sort of squishes down if it has any substantial weight to it. When fully hardened, after about 48 hours, it is too fragile for many projects. I've seen images of flowers with thin petals made with this, and I would not recommend using this clay for that kind of sculpture because the thinner it is, the more likely it will break. While it's advertised as being for use in making "cosplay" , it breaks very easily, so I don't think it would be good for things like ears, or anything that could stick out and be liable to bang on a doorway or another cosplayer. It might be useful for chunkier cosplay parts, but I wouldn't use it for very large items, like masks, or ornate armor pieces because it would be tremendously disappointing to spend hours making something only for it to break if you accidentally knock it off a table. You can see from the video how easy it is to break, also, it's easy to leave marks on the fully cured item. Final rating: While it appears to have more cons than pros, this is in reference to my intention of being able to build cosplay pieces, which I don't think this clay is really suited for, except for specific circumstances, I gave it four stars, because I can see it being fun for kids to play with. It's easy to use, doesn't require baking, and it's fun to squish around in your hands because of its soft texture. ... show more

  • Product goes a long way!!!
Size: 1500g Color: White
I bought this for building my Senshi helmet cosplay, and I still have 75 percent left. Stuff is great, it dries without cracking and can be spray painted easily. I highly recommend this product I bought the 3.3 lbs and it has lasted. It is squishy if you layer it and it can apply to Eva foam with just a little water. ... show more

  • Amazing! Check my comment for tips
Size: 300g Color: White
Love this product so much! The container it comes in is also great for storage afterwards as the product itself comes in a bag inside of it which the foam unsticks from the bag great. I’ve used it for the scale texture on my dragon mask as well as all my small spikes and the teeth. The durability once dried has withheld me being clumsy multiple times. Takes paint really well too! in my experience adheres to Eva foam, kids craft foam, and paper machete really well. A little does go a long way with this stuff, I really thought when I first ordered this i’d have gone through it within the day but it’s very surprising how much is really in the container Here’s what i’ve learned with this product as i’ve just bought my 3rd tub of the 300g -Use this product before painting your item it will not stick otherwise -Allow for 24 hours for thin things to almost fully cure 48 for a stiff -Your clay will dry over hours slightly so as soon as it’s out start working with it, it doesn’t dry super fast but you’ll want to do touch ups within the hour -it drys from the outside in so if it’s a big item give it more time. Big things i’d give days really -If you are doing say spikes or something vertical make sure you have a structure beneath if it has to dry straight up and down (even small stuff) overnight it will fall a bit - great to create textures, let it dry down a few minutes to insure it’ll stay textured ... show more

  • Foam clay
Size: 1500g Color: White
I do love this foam clay. It's new to me. A little hard to work with because as you're molding one side your fingers are distorting what you created on the other side. So if you have a mold that you want to replicate the stuff is great for that. For me I just had a hard time keeping my design from distorting. When it dries it's still flexible. ... show more

  • A must buy for Halloween
Size: 500g Color: Black
So I bought this to use in creating a skeleton head for Halloween. First time using it and I love it, once you figure out how to use it. Keep your fingers wet and do not wear gloves. But this is an amazing addition to any DIY for Halloween.
