I'm not sure how soon I can say anything about longevity, but this is a good drive out of the box at least. Formatted without trouble and is working fine, no temperature issues and has the correct capacity; it isn't one of those subpar drives with lying firmware or anything. I wouldn't want this to be my primary storage without backups or anything, but as a non critical add on for saving game installs or something, (maybe not AAA current gen games that need extra fast access) it's a good value.

Memory Storage Capacity: 256 GB
For $40, this is a good value NVMe PCIe 4x4 SSD and is a great size for a boot drive or a secondary library for your steam games. It undercuts similar NVMe SSDs by a few dollars, which is always nice, especially at this price point. In Windows, the drive feels nice and speedy, as backed up by the crystal disk mark benchmark. It's essentially right on the sequential read and write speeds, but the drive does not meet the recommended specs to install in your PS5. I suspect this is due to this drive only having 2 NAND chips on it, which reduces the speeds considerably when the higher capacity drives have more chips to enable faster read/write speeds. While it is physically compatible, I would not use it in my PS5 only because it is a bit over half of the recommended speed, which could impact gaming on your PS5. This should be stated on the product page, specifically for the 256gb drive, as it's the only one that doesn't meet specs. That being said, I installed The Witcher 3 and Hell Divers 2 on here and noticed no issues when it came to load times. The drive felt snappy and file transfers were nice and fast. This would be a nice cheap upgrade to any system that accepts NVMe SSDs and it's nice that the drive comes with a 3 year warranty. It gives peace of mind if not buying from a more well-known brand. Overall, this is a great value NVMe SSD and I would recommend it as a great upgrade for PCs using slower boot drives or if you have games with longer load times. I would not recommend the 256gb drive for use in the PS5 because it doesn't meet the 5500 MB/s sequential read speeds, but this would not be an issue with the other capacities.

I installed this in my PC and it was recognized right away with no issues. Setup was easy, and the included heatsink is a nice touch. For general use, it feels responsive and I haven’t had any crashes or errors so far. That said, I’m not getting anywhere near the top speeds listed in the description when I ran benchmarks. It’s still faster than older drives, but not what I’d expect from a Gen4 drive on paper. Could be fine for everyday use, just don’t expect peak performance numbers. Overall, it’s usable and stable, but the performance claims feel a bit optimistic.
