As others have mentioned, these things are tight! But if you work the elastic cord around the rungs of your vent tubing eventually you'll get there. It's not easy to put on but as you can see with my final pictures it is doable. This is on a 6" intake tube. I like them. Update: After less than two weeks I've had to vacuum the dust off of these meshes because they do their job so well! I'm very impressed! This does exactly what you need it to do. ... show more

    • They fit extremely snug on 4 inch ducts and do not work at all on the fan intake

Do not install on your fan intake if the intake shroud is too short, mine would not pull without sucking the venting dangerously close to the impeller. Work fantastic on ducting though, so if Intake needs to be through a screen, this will work with a duct attached. Or just mount to exhaust ducting and your good! ... show more
