We have two cats - one big, male Maine Coon who sheds relentlessly and a tiny, hyperactive, calico girl. I got these brushes, which are clearly marked as for dogs, in the hopes that a good brushing would calm our little girl (Lola) and help remove the excess fluff from our Maine Coon (Max). Max is a connoisseur of brushes and very particular about what he allows us to use on his fur. He sheds like crazy, and anything that helps to de-fluff him is welcome. Lola is a wall-climber and has a hard time settling down and relaxing. I chose the heavy blue one with chunky bristles for Max and the green one with smaller bristles for Lola. The pictures speak for themselves, The blue brush left Max's hair incredibly shiny, smooth, and silky. I only wish it had come with a fur catcher because it removed SO MUCH HAIR from his coat. Our little Lola is always harder to please, but it took less than a minute of brushing for her to fall sound asleep. It's miraculous. I've never been happier about the off-brand use of a product. I'd give these brushes more stars if I could!

My Ragdoll cat has very long hair which needs regular brushing. I decided to try these brushes first on her then on the dog. Both size brushes worked equally well! The cat liked both styles of brush, but the longer tooth worked best on her long body and tail fur. The smaller teeth brush worked good at her head, between the ears. The cat just purred when I was using them. The spaniel has both long and short areas of fur and again both brushes performed very well. The pets enjoyed the grooming. So I would say they are a success and I really like them.

The smaller, green brush is perfect for our short-haired Chihuahua mix. He enjoys the massage, so much so that he’ll follow us around and ask for it. The blue brush is too hard and heavy for shampooing our little guy. We prefer using a loofah because it’s gentler on his belly and face—for a large dog it might be excellent.

At first I thought I could use one of these brushes to spread the shampoo around but soon realized that is not what these are for. I now use the green brush for cleaning/massaging after I apply shampoo to my dog with my hands. I use the blue brush for dry massages and my dog likes it. Recommended.

I was impressed with the durability and quality of these brushes. The blue one is extremely thick and stable and the green one is adjustable and bendable. We have a dog with a coat that doesn't allow for soap to spread easily so these two brushes will help significantly with ensuring he gets a good bath and solid scrub.

Both brushes are great in their own way. The blue one has long rigid bristles to really clean deep into the undercoat. I tested it on my St Bernard and he got a really good clean! The green brush slipped around my hand too much, but it was great for cleaning more delicate areas like the head and ears. This will be a staple in our grooming routine.

These are great for my domestic shorthair tabby cat. He enjoys the feel of the green brush more but also likes the blue one. The blue one is CRAZY for de-shedding, it gets out so much hair so fast. My cat is usually pretty sensitive about how I touch him, but I can really dig in with the blue brush & he loves it. The green brush is OK for deshedding but my cat really enjoys when I brush him with it. It has a strap for my hand so I can strap it on & just pet him with it. I give these brushes 2 paws up for a happy cat & a happy human with less hair being left on my clothes.
