With several cars to maintain, replacing cabin air filters at a mechanic shop was becoming surprisingly expensive. The labor charges alone really started to add up, so I decided to start replacing them myself. I’m glad I did. These filters are a great value for the price, and the quality has been excellent. They fit properly, feel well made, and installation is much easier than I expected. It only takes a few minutes, even if you’ve never changed a cabin air filter before. The biggest benefit for me is the money I’ve saved. Instead of paying a mechanic every time one of my vehicles needs a new cabin air filter, I can replace it myself for a fraction of the cost. These cabin air filters were a perfect fit for my Tesla Model 3. Installation was straightforward, and they appear to be just as well-made as the factory filters. The activated carbon is a nice feature and helps keep outside odors and other smells from coming into the cabin. Getting two filters in the pack is convenient since I'll have a replacement ready to go when the next change is due. For the price, these are a great alternative to paying more for the Tesla-branded filters.

First, this filter (the CARORY CF-157) fit my 2024 RAV4 Hybrid just fine--nice and "snug" all-around. It is probably less than 1/64th of an inch thicker (height-wise) than the original OEM filter which came with my new RAV4 (I only have 3,000 miles on it). It also weighs three time as much as the OEM filter. The OEM filter has 31 pleats, while this filter has 27 pleats. This filter also appears much darker (I assume) due to the activated carbon. The OEM filter is astonishingly lightweight, and very, very see thru (porous?). Compared with this CARORY filter, the OEM filter seems as though it would allow a great deal of air through while only capturing less debris than this CARORY filter. So, I tested the air flow by inserting the filters and running the ventilation fan at various speeds and through the various cycles (face, defrost, defrost/feet, etc.). There did not seem to be a difference in the air flow (output) between the two filters. So, even though the CARORY filter is obviously denser, and more robust, it does not seem to decrease the air flow. I also noted there was no apparent difference in how loud the fan/fan motor seemed to be having to work between the two filters. The CARORY filter does not have any printing on it anywhere. The included instructions state that due to the many manufacturers out there, there is no way they could make a recommendation as to the positioning (facing up or down direction when inserted) of filter when inserted into the frame. After holding both filters up to very bright back lighting in all positions and angles, I could not distinguish any difference, except for the fact that the OEM filter allowed probably 80% of the backlighting to show through, while the CARORY filter only allowed maybe 40% of the light to show through (this concerned me since I did not want to restrict the air flow). However, as I mentioned above, this has no apparent effect on air flow (a good thing). I should also mention that my local Toyota dealership wanted $49.99 for an OEM filter (which I now know is ridiculously over-priced, especially seeing how lightweight and very, very basic it is). They also wanted $39.00 to install it (which actually takes about 15 minutes if you do it yourself - see the numerous YouTube videos). If you are like me, you probably researched these filter replacement options until you were exhausted. All I can say is that, overall, I am pleased with this filter--especially the price and shipping time (it arrived the day after I ordered it). After reviewing Bosch, Fram, and all the other generic aftermarket filters, this one seemed to be worth taking a chance on due to the low price. I needed a filter that actually "fit" perfectly, which this one does. I would have preferred a good fitting filter with no carbon or Arm and Hammer included in the filter media but, I was not able to fine one. I am glad I took the chance with filter, and will probably order another one for future use.

Perfect fit for my '02 Camry's cabin air filter. Easy to install with the help of several videos available online. It came sealed so I know it wasn't a used product. Quality seems to be good. It's labeled so you know the correct orientation this thing should be placed when you change your cabin air filter. I just wish the price was lower.

Fit my wife’s car perfectly, and was really easy to install. She did it herself. It is behind the glove box which is very easy to remove. At a shop this can cost as much as $80 for the part and installation. Save yourself some money and look it up on YouTube and DIY.
