    • Much smaller than I expected
When these arrived I was thought I was sent another item by mistake because there was no way that the box I held in my hands could hold two bee houses. Nope. Upon opening the box I discovered that yes, both bee houses were there, and they were tinyyyy. The only size description on the product page is under "Product Dimensions" where is says the product is 7.8"x5.9"x3.5". I guess I just assumed that this was the size of each house? Nay, even the box that holds the two houses only comes to 6" at its longest side. Each house is only about 4 3/4" at its tallest point. In addition to their small size, some of the nesting spaces for the bees/wasps are too small for them to fit (and I've seen those gals fit in some seriously tight spots!). These would do fine for decorative purposes, but unfortunately not for much else. ... show more

This set of 2 bee houses are smaller than I was expecting and not protected from the weather. the outer wood they are made from is not sealed. In addition, there is no way to secure or hang them. Mine also did not come with any instructions or information on ideal placement to attract bees.
