to top the LG front load laundry pair in my home. The towels protected the painted finish of the machines, but too often fell off beside or behind the machines, never to be seen again. They fit well, larger than the indentations on the top of LG laundry machines, but staying in place, nonetheless. The color matches the black chrome color of my year-old machines. I wish the raised lip around the perimeter of the covers was lower, or absent from the left front edge, where I usually place a jug of liquid soap, but no big deal.

Our old machines rusted on the tops after years of laying wet clothes on them. The beach towel got wet too and that led me to look for a better product to keep the rust from developing. I didn’t realize this product existed until I stumbled across it. And it turns out, it’s a product I didn’t know I needed until I got it 😊 We keep various items on top of our front-load washer and dryer. These silicone mats perfectly cover the top of both appliances, and do a great job protecting from scratches. The one trade-off I suspect I’ll have with using these is dusting. It is very easy to dust a metal surface, but I suspect it will not be quite as easy to dust a silicone surface. But I can run it under water if need be to clean it…so this potential trade-off is worth using these protective mats.

This large heavy duty washer/dryer top protector is very well made. I especially like how it has a lip all the way around to prevent spills from dripping down to the floor. Because of the tight fit of my cabinets above I was easily able to customize the fit with a scissors. The silicone material is easily cleaned with a damp rag. I like the clean look it has and how well it will protect my washer/dryer top from scratches and nicks. It fits perfectly!

I have trouble looking for an under sink mat that's big enough for my sink. With this 2 pack, instead of putting them on my washer and dryer, I cut the edges of the 2 pieces to make one big mat. It's kind of filmsy, but they fit under the sink and work fine.
