Let me begin by saying I never had any exposure to singing bowls before in my life. I was seeing them frequently online, and I thought they seemed sort of cool so I figured what the heck, I'll try them. Thought that even if I couldn't get them to sing, they'd still make for some mighty cool looking decor. Well much to my surprise, I am actually able to make them sing. They are actually very pretty sounds. (For whatever reason, I have more success with the smaller bowl, but perhaps it comes down to a balancing thing. Small bowl fits much better on my palm. Hopefully with more practice, I'll become more comfortable with the larger bowl too.) I had debated on this purchase for a little while, but overall I'm really glad I bought it. It's actually enjoyable just putting your attention into it. Sometimes the mind just needs a little distraction, right?

I loved that these came in a set, with a lovely cushion so the bowl can truly vibrate. I do think there should be a cushion for each but I solved that issue myself. They sing beautifully and my almost 12 year old daughter taught me how to make the large one “sing”. I have enjoyed these tremendously and my plan is to eventually take them into my first grade classroom to use during our mindfulness part of our day but I’m enjoying them too much at home! I highly recommend!! Well made and shipping was great!!

I only chose these because of the review and videos I saw, but there's no way these are the same bowls seen in the videos because they don't work, even my son who is amazing playing singing bowls can't get them to properly do what their supposed to do.

Doesn't sing well, looks mallet is the issue, they says it's hand crafted but it's doubtful , hand crafted one carries sound longer then machine made and this bowls doesn't sounds like the one.

These bowls fit in your palm so it takes some practice to get them to sing. They have a soft delicate sound once you get the knack of how to use them.
