Picked these up as a more budget-friendly alternative to the official Milwaukee M12 batteries, and overall, Iâm happy with the performance. They charge fine on my Milwaukee charger, snap into my tools without any issues, and so far, theyâve held up well under normal use (drill, impact, and ratchet mainly). However, I do have some doubts about the advertised 8.0Ah capacity. They last longer than my older 2.0Ah and 3.0Ah packs for sure, but they donât quite feel like theyâre giving true 8.0Ah runtime. I havenât done any technical testing, but just from real-world use, they seem more in line with maybe a 5.0 or 6.0Ah battery. That said, for the price, you really canât complain. If youâre not relying on them for all-day heavy-duty work and just need extra packs around the shop or garage, these are a great value. Iâd buy them again â just donât expect OEM-level runtime from the claimed 8.0Ah.

I have a whole bag of M12 Milwaukee tools and I always need a battery. This is rated at 8.0 Ah, and I am doubtful that is an accurate rating, based on all the other foreign replacement batteries I have used. I do not have a way to test that other than using the battery in my tools. It charges and appears to work very well in my drills, screwdrivers, recip saw, and air compressor. I also used it in an outdoor agricultural sprayer for bleach solution and weed killers. The battery lasts a long time under use and it fits as well as a factory Milwaukee battery. It does have more usable capacity than my Milwaukee 3.0 Ah batteries as demonstrated by use in a vacuum cleaner which kills batteries after 15 minutes of use. This one lasted about 25 minutes, and i am pleased with the performance for the cost. I would buy this again.

Upon arrival i put both batteries on charger. Next morning use one battery with power ratchet only for a few screws. Battery does not show any charging level any more, putting it on charger charger flashed red/green, indicating battery bad. Must return, will try other brand.

I used these with my M12 fuel hammer drill (3404-20). They worked just like first party milwaukee batteries. If you are looking to move up from the 4 amp hour batteries to the larger 8 amp hour batteries on the m12 platform then consider just getting these rather than spending a small fortune on the name brand ones. So far they have charged just as fast and have had same run time as the ones I got from home depot. They have the charge indicator built in and work with your existing milwaukee charger. If you want more batteries for a big project OR want to get on the milwaukee m12 platform then these are good start.

Questioning whether third-party batteries actually offer what theyâre advertising? Numbers are often more suggestive rather than absolute â and these were no different. Weighing in at 364 grams, this â8.0 Ahâ battery is nearly 10% lighter than even my original XC3.0 from 2017. Time to load test â fresh off the charger and onto my electronic load tester set to a 2 amp discharge rate and cutting off at 9.9 volts (3.3V per cell = 5%), the first battery resulted in 2,848 mAh. Divided through, thatâs 2,998 mAh. That ⊠is low. Time to test the second battery, fresh off the charger again. And this one resulted in 2,898 mAh, which divides through to 3,050 mAh. Thatâs some blatant exaggeration for whatâs really some XC3.0 batteries â hence the derating for these batteries. While these absolutely win on value, the exaggeration is among the most extreme Iâve encountered.

I was really impressed with these batteries. I have purchased these types of batteries before, which would die after a few weeks of use. So far these seem to be holding up. I do not really know if they are 8 Ah batteries, as I do not have a way to test that. However they seem to last longer than my 2 Ah so that is a plus. You get 2 batteries for 30 dollars that is a pretty good deal, as long as they work that is.
