VERY IMPRESSED! Did hedges around 5000 SF house on half a battery! Two red LED bars remaining. This has 4 LED indicators versus my OEM which only has 3. I charged it overnight with my OEM charger (to give it a FAIR REVIEW) though it actually came with a full 4 bars. That was nice just in case it was an emergency situation for someone. It seems to be made of quality materials and it fits my 40V Chainsaw, Hedge Trimmer and Leaf Blower with precision. The latching mechanism is also perfect and solid. I was skeptical but I am definitely happy with my purchase. I’ll change my review if anything changes. ... show more

    • So far, I am very pleased.
My edger and trimmer came with 1.5AH batteries. They are way too week for the job. The new battery can hold the entire yard when using the edger and it does not get hot and fails when trimming the bushes. I hope it lasts.

I bought 2 of these batteries for my 70 year old mother to go with the Black and Decker leaf blower and String trimmer that she wanted. The battery is light weight and hold the charge long enough for her (the grand kids) to do the yard work. Great price. Sorry for the confusion on the 1 star.

Works just as good as the original and fits perfectly. That one lasted 3 years so I hope this one will do the same.

    • 1 battery works great & 1 battery has less battery use.
1 battery is already acting up after 45 days of owning. Still works, but I bet its going to slowly decline. The other is perfect & loved the price. 1/2 value is why I gave 3 stars. If the battery wasn't acting up already would of been 5 star.
