Despite the cost savings, one of the issues with artificial trees, is that it takes up space; whether or not it is being used. When it is in the box, it takes up "X" amount of space; and when it is being used it takes up "2X" amount of space. This issue is particularly noticeable, if you live in a small apartment or dorm. As a child, I grew up with a full-size, 6 foot version of this tree, which my parents got from Sears. The fact that "some assembly is required," and that you get to trim it with miniature decorations; gave me the same feelings that I had with the 6 foot tree of my childhood. Seriously, if you take the time to enjoy the process, you can make this into an hour long project. The type of tree represented is a Douglas fir. It comes as one unit, with the branches "wrung together," and the top branch sort of bent, so that it fits in the box. Most of the time spent, will be CAREFULLY unbending, untangling, and spreading out the branches. And when it is time to put the tree away, my recommendation is to use a larger plastic container. The miniature decorations are properly scaled, to match the size of the tree. Depending on your OCB for symmetry, this can take as little or as much time as you want. It comes with a square of felt, which can be used as a skirt for the tree. If you add the skirt last, you can use it to hide the battery box for the lights. Speaking of lights... take the time to FULLY STRAIGHTEN the string of lights BEFORE adding them to the tree. The lights are strung together with stiff, about 24 AWG wire; which is easy to break, if it gets tangled or kinks. When putting the lights away, my suggestion is to loosely wrap the lights around a toilet paper tube, and place the whole thing in a sandwich bag. I wanted to rate this as 4 stars, because of the way the manufacturer got to 2 feet (see picture with measurements). But I'm still going to rate this as 5 stars, because the "enjoyment factor," cancels out the measurements issue.

After fluffing out and arranging the branches, this is a lovely little tree. The string light strand, which has warm white lights, requires 3 AA batteries and looks lovely with just that. The tree has some pinecones and faux red berry bunches throughout, which satisfies the need for color. Thereโs a lot of assorted ornaments that can be added to this tree, but frankly some of them are kind of meh and would take away from, rather than add to the aesthetics in the area that I have them. However, putting all of the ornaments on would be fun for kids or be nice in a particularly festive area. I had a bit of trouble with tangling regarding the light string, but all worked out well in the end. I had found clumps of fake snow were nearly gluing some of the branches together, but pulling with a bit of force freed them up and they still look nice. The base is sturdy and the tree adds a happy wintery Christmas vibe whether or not any, all or some of the ornaments are put on. Thanks for reading.

This little Christmas tree is so darn cute. I've had a few of these littletrees over the years, but never one with flocking and it has turned out to be cutest mini tree ever. I wasn't sure about the burlap root cover, I was a bit worried it wouldn't be as stable as the plastic feet all of my previous mini trees have arrived with, but it appears my fears were unfounded, the tree is perfectly stable and not even my mischievious cat has knocked it over, yet. As you can see from my second picture, the tree arrives very smooshed. You have to flug the tree before decorating it. But a little patient seperating and the tree ended looking like a tiny redwood covered in snow. The tree does not come with lights, but I had a small set of fairly lights that looks so cute on this tree. The tree does come with a small bag of ornaments, shatterproof christmas balls and tiny red and gold bows. I think these decorations are pretty boring, so the first chance I get I hope to change them out for something a little more unique, maybe some homemade salt dough decorations or something similar. But I really couldn't be happier with this tiny tree and it looks beautiful on my dining area table.

This miniature Christmas tree is very nice. It comes with a full set of miniature ornaments and a string of battery-operated fairy lights (three AA batteries needed). The branches are flexible and easy to fluff. The only issue I ran into was with the three bell ornaments, they didn't have the strings in them to use to hang on the tree. No worries though, that is an easy fix. Overall, I think this tree is cute and will work great in my daughter's room for Christmas. I think it would also work nicely in an apartment for people with limited space as it still offers the "tree decorating" experience for a child.

This tree is for my daughter's room. It is the perfect size for a bedroom. It does need fluffed when you first opened but that's normal. It has a cute selection of ornaments and a string of lights. This would be perfect for office or small rooms. It's a very cheerful little tree. Great gift idea.

I love that this tree comes decorated. I lost someone very important to me almost 20 years ago and haven't had a Christmas tree since. I'm excited to put this little guy up in my Livingroom this season, thought I would start out slow. This tree is perfect for anyone who only has a small area for a tree or has little ones it needs to be put up from. The lights and decorations are very nice.

This tree is a great value for the price. The tree does shed when I removed it from the box and when I fluffed the tree. I donโt like the ornaments that came with it so Iโll be leaving just the lights on, which looks beautiful by itself.
