This would be cute for a child's room but I wouldn't make it a centerpiece because it isn't nearly as full as it appears in the picture. I was personally disappointed because the picture makes it appear to be so full and it simply isn't. It comes with a variety of ornaments, but once again, most of them are cheap looking -- something I'd expect to get in a 10-pack at the dollar store. I think this is probably to be expected for a value priced item but my issue is simply that it looks much nicer in the picture than it does in real life so I wouldn't personally order it again. ... show more

For the price, this a decent mini Christmas tree for your desk at work, or maybe for a dorm, really any place with very limited space. Frankly, it looks terrible when it arrives, it’s so compressed. But if you take the time to arrange/space the ‘branches’ then it’s decently full. The 24” height includes the base and the star on top. Pros: Great price for a mini tree! A small string of battery powered LED lights is included. Christmas ornaments for the tree are included. It looks cute and festive! Neutral: The base is pretty lightweight. Adding some rocks to the container/base would offer greater stability. 3 AA batteries are needed for the LED lights. Cons: The included ornaments are pretty cheap looking, and the three pinecones that were in the package were far too large for the tree. I will be adding some better quality mini ornaments of my own. But I wanted to show what was possible using only the ornaments supplied. ... show more
