I was super impressed with this surf rope when I first saw it! The grip and molding on this handle feels super good in your hands, and it feels much better than any other ropes. This is a shorter rope at 25', but we are pretty much beginners when it comes to wake boarding and didn't want too much extra line. This tow rope has a really awesome neoprene grip handle that has such a nice feel in your hand, and it also makes it so your handle won't sink. It has a very strong build and is constructed with a thick hyper-Braid rope that gives it 2,200 break strength. The rope is also made so that it will float in the water instead of sinking to the bottom. This rope is very versatile because there are six sections that can be added or taken out depending on the length that you want. One other thing that I really liked about this rope is that it came with a really nice storage bag to keep it in! This is very nice and I am super glad that I got it! Took this out for early spring surf session and this is a nice rope. Has the adjustable rope size which I like as I prefer a shorter rope to get into the wave sooner. The rope has the normal floating things on it that worked well. I like the handle as well, a little soft which I liked to allow me to grip. The rope has some sort of fancy weave at the end and while I did not pull 2200 pounds I have no doubt this could handle a huge amount of weight and certainly does not feel like it is going to snap. I wasn’t sure if it had any give to it And would have a spring action. It did not it pulls just like a normal rope This rope is a great value when I compared to the prices that I see at my local boat/surf shop The rope at the end is very heavy duty and while I did not pull 2200 pounds. The rope has the capability to shorten which is really nice depending on what you are doing for example boarding or skiing. The handle is fantastic. Great grip, easy to hold and a good length. The end of the rope near the handle is a thicker weave. That looks fantastic. I’ve never seen a rope like this. In looking at prices of ropes this is a great deal. I chose this color (Gray/Black) because I expect it to get dirty and this color will look less dirty. The handle feels great and The length is good. I usually will run less length, but you can always do that. Making it longer... nope. The rope weighs less than I expected. Thats a good thing if you need to lug it around. It also comes with a bag that does seem oversized for the rope. That means I can throw other junk into the bag. I expect this will last a long time as long as I don't store it in the sun.
