    • Sturdy, suitable for most headphones.
Very sturdy. You could use this to hang a lot more than a pair of headphones, try a fully loaded backpack (if your desktop is sturdy enough). The channel at the bottom was not wide enough for the pair of headphones I was going to hang there, but they have an exceptionally wide headband so I wouldn't expect that to be the case for most people; I ended up using a pair with a thinner headband at my desk anyway, so it worked out. For those interested, the headphones that were too wide are the Meze Empyreans. I ended up using the Sennheiser HD 660S's at my desk instead, partly because Empyreans are a lot of headphone for simple day-to-day computer and entertainment. ... show more

    • Stays in place-totally stable
So much to like-easy as pie to install, it is very solid and it stays in place. I use it to hang my purse from the back side of the kitchen table. It keeps the purse off the floor and easily accessible. The purse hangers I previously purchased came off the table edge almost every time I took my purse off the hanger. This hanger can handle a lot more weight than my purse. Downside-I won’t say it is pretty but it is not in a prominent place so it’s a trade off I’ll gladly make. No hesitation to say buy this if you value the traits I have described above ... show more

2 years ago or so I bought this as a headset holder and it has held up well. I looked at clamps actually marketed as headset holders and was appalled by how cheap and flimsy they looked and so started searching for something better and luckily found this. I know it says it is only meant for 30 pounds, but honestly? looking at this thing I think it could hold way more and it would be my particle board desk that would snap a piece off first. ... show more

Bought for a friend's desk at work. Easy installation and very durable. Used for space saving and accessibility, buying one for myself. Heavy duty and should not be carried around, but once you find a place buy more than one if needed.
