Nice Generator. I ran my own fuel efficiency tests. It nicely fired up out of the box, then I varied the load and tested run times and the ability to turn gasoline in electrons. In all small engines, always avoid ethanol based gasoline. I measured out various amounts of gasoline, and ran the generator under various loads before doing the full break in period. Your math may vary. At an empty 4% load, running a 76 watt box fan, it would run for 9 hours on a gallon of gas and generate about 687 watts. This could also represent running a TV, light bulbs, CPAP, or such. If a good nights sleep is what you need that can be important. In this case, most of the fuel is just used to keep it going. In my testing, running at a load at 1,644 watts (86% load), I got 3 hours and 45 minutes and about 5.7 kilowatts out of a gallon of gas. Loads in the 1500 watt range, repeatedly got about 5.3 kilowatts out of a gallon of gas with run times of 3.5 to 4 hours. A 1,000 watt load will run about 5 hours on a gallon of gas. These numbers can be useful for emergency planning as you need to calculate out your loads, run time, and the number of gallons of gas accessible. One strategy is to run the generator for two to three hours every morning and every evening, then shutting it off during the day or during the night. I am planning on paring my gas inverter generator with my power station, using the generator to recharge the power station. Then the power station can quietly charge and power the essential electronics around my house. One usually gets the most power out of an inverter generator when it is run under a heavy load, around 84%. Properly loading a generator can boost fuel efficiency gains up to 40%. When the gas station is near this does not matter much, but in emergency situations such as hurricanes, ice storms and more, extra run time can mean the difference between saving a fridge or spending massive hours running around trying to find gas. The plan is to run the generator a few hours in the morning and evening, supplying essential power to a fridge, freezer, and power station. Running fridge normally pulls a little over 200 watts, but it cycles on and off throughout the day. Without the power station, I would just run the fridge 3 to 4 hours twice a day, using about 1 gallon of gas per day. However, with a power station one can double that run time. My 1 kilowatt EcoFlow Delta 2 power station can run the fridge for 12 hours. It can also power all other minor loads through the day. Once the power station is empty, around evening time or whenever is convenient, I will fire up the gas generator and charge it back up. It can charge in an hour. We used this strategy through an ice storm last winter, and found it worked well. In theory, with 5 kilowatts of power out of a gallon of gas, using the generator and power station, I could keep my fridge going 2.5 days per gallon of fuel. This generator is also the right size to grab and go, take to a friends house, or move by oneself. Ultimately, this generator can power one of almost anything that plugs in. Cheaper than the name brands, I hope I don't need it, but given the power reliability in my town, and the price of food, this is a great insurance policy for power outages. You can't afford not to have one when the storms hit. When supplying yourself for an emergency also gets power strips, a plug in power monitor (kill-a-watt or similiar), extra extension cords, extra oil, extra spark plugs, a carbon monoxide detector, gas cans, and LED lamps. We ran the extension cord in through the kitchen window, then used a power strip to manually plug in and unplug various freezers, fridges, fans, lights, and the all important coffee maker. Running long extensions cords around the outside of the room also removes trip hazards, a few nails can lift the cords in critical hallways. A kill-a-watt power monitor made knowing what loads were running much easier. One could see the load, then make decisions. Yeah, I want coffee, I am unplugging the fridge for a few minutes. Oh, there is no load right now, plug the chest freezer back in. Being ready for a power outage is about getting the critical things ahead of time, testing, planning and being prepared! I bought this based on the comments and research. I'm in Jamaica, we just had Hurricane Melissa, so no electricity and no water. I closed my eyes, said a prayer and bought this inverter generator on faith. I HAVE NO REGRETS!!!! I followed all instructions and each time I use it, it starts on one pull. I was able to connect it to my breaker, I was able to power all 8 of my emergency light bulbs, 2 door fridge, washing machine, 55 inch TV, PS5, 2 Fans all CPAP Machine all at the sametime. I had no surges, nor decrease in power, especially when the washing machine was on. What I was impressed with most of all, was the 1 gallon tank I would use an entire 6 litre bottle of 90 octane gas and that would give me little over 11 hours, with everything connected and operating, including doing 2 large loads of laundry. This Amerisun Inverter generator is the real deal, its really quiet and gets quieter with the eco mode switched on. Its very light, compact, lasts unexpectedly long for a 1 gallon tank capacity. Very powerful for its size, very mobile, I made a great investment with this inverter generator, because Jamaica is Hurricane prone and we have power outages every now and then, so its a win win situation. I recommend this to everyone, whether your a camper, tradesman, having a disaster, you will never regret it. Its worth every penny and its extremely affordable compared to others it maybe the cheapest.

Better than I expected. Ships without oil so you must add before starting. So add oil. Remove two screws and pull cover from side. 10w30. full synthetic, Even includes a funnel shaped to make adding oil easy. Awesome. Added fuel. Has a fuel gauge on top. Even more Awesome. Followed the tag instructions. Turn on vent on gas cap. Starting on the side. First time starting it took quite a few pulls with choke on. After the initial start, it is super easy. It is considered loud compared to more expensive models, and yet, I believe it is very quiet. More quiet than I had planned. Has USB outlets. Eco mode which lets it idle when nothing is pulling power. I ran an old air compressor with it and then plugged in an electric heater. Both ran with no issues. The nicest thing is how easy it is to tote around. My old compressor was on wheels and a nightmare just to move around. Including video of my wife starting. Hopefully you can hear how quiet it is and see how easy it is to start. She had no issues. My only regret is I got it on sale and now I wish I had bought two. I will update if I run into any problems and how it performs in an emergency over a long period. Really happy with this purchase.

This inverter generator seems to be a quality product. Fit and finish are great. Took 5 or 6 pulls to start the first time. After that it has started the first pull. Display / control panel is functional and laid out nicely. I have only had it a few days and started it about 3 times. It is much quieter than the older model generators. Having to remove the side cover to check the oil is an inconvenience but not a deal breaker. You have to remove 2 screws and pull the cover off. Getting the cover back on and lined up to tighten the screws has been somewhat frustrating. There is also a panel for access to the spark plug. It is light to carry but could seem heavy for someone with bad back or up in years. Over all I'm happy with it. One thing I want to call out is: it stated on Amazon that it was made in America but it says on the box that's it's made in China. Not cool.

When an initial purchase outperforms expectations—yielding 7,500 hours of legitimate, rigorous, and dependable operation—it earns a rare commodity in modern manufacturing: customer loyalty. It was precisely that anomaly of engineering excellence that prompted me to make a second purchase on March 27, 2026. Regrettably, that original quality has vanished entirely, replaced by a product that has proven to be an unmitigated piece of junk from day one, backed by a support infrastructure that borders on negligent. The machine’s performance issues were immediate, but the true insult began when I attempted to exercise the factory warranty. I have now been subjected to 16 days of non-stop runaround. For over two weeks, I meticulously detailed the unit's failure, provided full operational context, and waited for a responsible resolution. Instead of honoring their commitment, the company dragged its feet, seemingly searching for any pretext to shirk their obligations and shift the fault onto the customer. To cap off this absolute masterclass in poor service, after 16 days of getting jerked around, my case was finally handed off to a new representative yesterday. Rather than taking ownership of the existing documentation or reading the established history, this individual expects me to restart the entire explanation process from square one. I do not have the patience for corporate stalling tactics. A warranty is only as good as the honor of the company standing behind it. Based on a completely failure-prone product and a support department that prefers administrative loops over actual accountability, my original trust in this brand is 100% dead. Save your time, your money, and your sanity: look elsewhere.

Received it in 3 days. Check oil before starting. I drained the little bit of oil that was in it then added the proper amount of oil. Pulled cord few time to get the oil to lubercate the engine. Filled it with non ethanol gas put machine in choke position pulled easy two times then pulled it hard started right up ran for 5 seconds then put in run position. In eco mode machine is very quiet still ran two drills of of it and didn’t even kick into high. I’m only giving it four stars for now till I see how long it will last.,gonna run it for about 1 hour in eco mode then drain oil and put new oil in this should get rid of all the metal shavings in oil. Proper break in on any machine and maintenance should last long time.
