The posts are 4’ in total length, including the metal that goes into the ground. I ordered these without realizing this and it only ends up being about 3’ high.

I rotate my pigs through the woods on the property. There's a lot of high and low points on the terrain. I've set t-posts, but it's difficult to always tell where a pig can slip out or where the wire will run too close to the ground until the hot wire is run. These posts come in great handy to get the wire dropped down and block an opening, or lift it up to avoid touching the earth. I wouldn't use these for my horses (max height of 15HH) because they're a bit on the short side. Pretty sure the abuse by goats would potentially be too much for the clips to handle without breaking. Also not sure I would setup a full rotational paddock with these, as they're not very stout to hold up to tensioning a poly rope or tape due to the single stake that's relatively short in the ground. For ultra electric fence sensitive animals, or using to hold up sagging areas of mesh fencing. It's good to go!

Ordered 1 box - all good condition. Ordered a 2nd box, at least half had damage and broken off pieces. Didn't check the 2nd box immediately and really should have so it could have been returned.
