I can't stress how much I appreciate the fact that this sink only has one faucet hole… the key reason being anyone with a drill, a steady hand, center punch and a pencil can make a new hole but there is no good way to close one that I've been made aware of unless your skilled with fireclay. Regardless, this sink is beautiful and a quality piece. It is well amde, heavy and durable within reason. The white finish is a nice touch as most sinks are stainless now and it's nice to have options. Overall a great sink at the price Until We Meet Again -Off the Grid Ken

You might be considering a fireclay sink like this, but are wondering, can I drill a hole it it like a stainless steel sink for my under-sink reverse osmosis unit or soap dispenser? The answer is absolutely, without question, yes you can. But you don't do it like you would with a stainless steel sink. When drilling holes in a stainless steel sink, anyone will tell you that the "step drill bit" is the tool of choice for making those holes. 1 bit will install just about anything in a stainless steel sink. But please note, that if you use a step drill bit (or any "regular" drill bit) on this or any fireclay sink, you will likely crack / break your sink. The tool of choice for drilling a hole in your fireclay sink is the diamond hole saw. You can do it dry, but wet is much preferred. Go easy, and when the pilot bit pokes through the other side, make sure you drill from both sides (if possible) to reduce the chance of any chipping. There are YouTube videos if you've never done it and are uncomfortable, but a good set of diamond hole saws makes cutting a hole in a sink like this actually pretty easy. In fact, I just today used a diamond hole saw to cut 4 perfect holes in an old house's asbestos siding "shingle", which are extremely brittle and hard, and with a diamond hole saw the job went quick and easy, and the holes were flawless. So, yes, if you want to add on to this sink, it's very possible, you just need the correct tool to do it. Please don't try with a regular drill bit or step bit, as you will fail spectacularly. This sink is beautiful. I love the sink protector! I got it to replace an older stainless steel "double sink" which I'm frankly tired of. It arrived in flawless condition, and I can hardly wait to put it in. One thing I want to point out, is that if you're used to stainless steel sinks, the weight of this sink will take you by surprise. This weighs 2-3x as much as a stainless sink (at least). So having a pair of hands both above AND below, to prevent drop-in disasters, will serve you well on this installation. 5 stars, recommended.

Out the box - stunning. I love a big sink, and this one is perfect! I have more than enough room to wash all of my large pots/pans and dishes. I love the look and feel of the fireclay. I was drawn in by its claim of being scratch resistant because of how often I like to scrub out my sink - and it has delivered! This sink is HEAVY. We had to install a few reinforcing boards to our cabinets to be sure they would support the weight.

This fireclay, drop-in sink looks great and is easy to keep clean. I like that it comes with the bottom grate, as I like to keep things from hitting the bottom of my sink as much as possible. I do wish it came with a few other extras at this price point though. It is a great size and I like the depth as it allows you plenty of room to work, which is always a plus. I would prefer it to be a 3 hole, as most faucets come with a plate to cover the extra holes if you don’t use them. It is just nice to have options, since you never know what you will do in the future. I do think that this sink is on the expensive side, but it is deeper than many other fireclay sinks I have seen and it looks great.
