Unit felt like a cheap plastic toy (first impression). Wires seemed too thin gauge, neck could've been longer. My biggest beef was the enclosed schematic. (White to white, red to red, black to black, ground to ground or (bare wire)) You have to use common sense and know your floodlight and your house (or other building). This schematic shows black (from the unit) going to RED (hot pwr from the floodlight). WTF? Of course this sensor has no ground wire because it's PLASTIC. With sensor installed correctly, lights come on and go off like they're supposed to; sensitivity is kinda high even w/ adjustment. I don't know how long this unit will last, because it feels so cheap. I gave it Four Stars only because the price was great! (Would've given it 3)

For the price this works awesome. I have been using free motion sensors that construction sites throw away but they are not built for outside. However, I have only had this for about 3 weeks. It usually takes more than a year for my free ones to start to fail. But this is designed to be outside, I do have it under my carport so it is getting some protection from Phoenix weather. I installed it, easy to install, I adjusted for time and sensitivity, both adjust perfectly and is very sensitive to the sides but not as far directly in front, but it doesn’t matter for my situation because my carport to door is about 25’ and at a 40’ range setting, it did not detect me coming out of the door but 60’ did. I want as much sensitivity as possible so this works for my needs. Much cheaper than some other motion sensors, you could buy 2-3 of these compared to other brands and still be ahead. I recommend!

Worked ok for a couple of days. Started staying on during the day and not working at night. One problem I had is the plastic screen looks burnt. The breaker tripped and I couldn’t find out why.
