  • It worked as advertised

  • Arrived with defective ports
Model: 10 Port | 8xPoE + 72W | 2xUPLink
I had a different POE switch that had died after 3 years. So I ordered this one. Only 5 out of 8 POE ports are working. It is not the cables, I switched them around and the issue stays with the 3 bad ports. The switch has also issues with reconnecting on working ports, another indication the internal board for the switch has issues. I run Wireless AP with a power budget of 7 Watt each. 5 of those amount to 45 Watts. The switch is advertised with 120 Watts at Amazon and on the attached manual they say 95 Watts. So, beware the product is misrepresented on Amazon. 95 Watts are still plenty for my application. It just seems to be a bad item or bad quality control. ... show more

  • It works.
Model: 26 Port | 24xEthernet Port | 2xUPLink
There is no wifi in an Ethernet switch and I didn't have to call tech support. The user interface is plugging in an Ethernet cable. Who decided to choose these "features" to review?

  • Default setting was ports isolated from each other.
Model: 18 Port | 16xPoE + 250W | 2xUPLink
Disliked 3 things. The dipswitch setting was set out of the box to isolate ports. The dipswitch was difficult to look at and determine which way it was set. The 4 rack-mount holes were not in a square configuration (it was a rectangle) meaning you could only mount the bracket one way. If you want to use the brackets to flush mount to a wall you cant. (Well you can use one of the 4 holes but its really precarious to do it that way) In all fairness i purchased a 24 port from same company and by default the switch was set in non isolation mode. Maybe my switch's setting was a one off. ... show more
