Solid School Headphones That Actually Hold Up I picked up this 5-pack of wired headphones for a classroom that I'm a part of, and they’ve been a great value for school and home use. They’re comfortable, durable enough for daily wear, and the sound quality is clear for lessons and video calls. Honor Roll.... Comfortable fit: The padded ear pieces fit well on both kids and adults. The adjustable headband stretches to accommodate different head sizes without feeling tight. Clear sound: Audio quality is good for schoolwork, Zoom calls, and media. The microphone works well for video conferences... no complaints about hearing me during calls. Durable construction: The wire is thicker than cheaper models, and the headband feels sturdy. My kids have twisted and stretched them without breaking. Good value: Getting 5 individually wrapped pairs in a box is a solid deal for the price. I love these headphones and selected them for my home and travel for when the grands visit. There have been times when the kids want to look at and listen to their favorite shows and you want a bit of peace and quiet, that's when these headphones come in handy. I can set the granddaughter up with her favorite shows and we are both happy. They are simple to use, come with a built in mic. They are made with kid-friendly materials with thick cords for durability. The headphones are comfortable and can be adjusted for size needed. The ear pads are soft and comfy on the ear and are great for doing homework and school from home when necessary. They can be purchased in 2pack, 5 pack, 10 pack, and 24 pack. I ordered this set of classroom headphones for my 5yr old's class, because I know that teachers cover a lot and they need headphones for their computer work. I put these things to the TEST because Kindergarteners are not easy on their stuff. Even if that stuff belongs to someone else. The grading scale: Fit: 5/5 - These adjust comfortably on adults as well as the kids without too much sliding or falling. They were a little bigger on the smallest kindergarteners but not unmanageably so and mostly if they were extra fidgety. Comfort: 4/5 - For short sessions they worked great but they did get a bit warm in the ear pieces if worn too long. Definitely not for marathon listening but great for short classroom workshops Sound Quality: 5/5 - None of the headphones lost sound quality over the testing period (of about 2 months) and there is no noticeable popping or cracking which is common with headphones that are wired. Durability: 5/5 - I've seen these get stepped on and dropped multiple times and still held up. None of the pairs have been broken, though one is pretty bent after being pushed around the room by a chair, but that's not the headphone's fault. Price: 4/5 - When I ordered these they were listed as just over $30 for 5 pairs, which is still pretty good at a little over $6/pair. I do see they've currently come down to just under $25 for 5 pairs so definitely better economically, but PLEASE do the math before ordering! The 5 pack at $23.41 is $4.68/pair. $4.68x24 is $112.32 but it's listed above as $149.95 at full price. The 10 pack is also more expensive per pair of headphones than the 5 pack. Final Grade: A- - I took off points for the pricing inconsistency when purchasing in bulk as well as the fact they get warm but overall I do believe they are worth the cost and are a good investment, especially if you need to supply multiple kids with headphones. I will probably pick up a couple more sets to donate to my son's class next year as well! ... show more
