Long pens of acrylic color in that put an intense coat of color on whatever one chooses to create. Know that it functions like a marker rather than oil paint, so blending is a minimum. Coats like thick paint does, so sheerness, as in see-through, is not a value but can become useful depending on what one creates. Creation depends upon technique used, but plenty of possibilities if you prefer free draw. Good feature having the dual tips with a round tip you can fill in quickly and the fine tip for outlining or adding some tint and hue in different areas. Might need to come back and fill in some spots once done because if the brush tip did not pass, the background's color stays. You can smear a bit with your fingertip, but the color dries quickly, so possibly an agent out there you can brush on to do the blending. Have not researched that. Images with definitive lines work well and only have a few gradients for quick drawing and painting. Someone out there has mastered the acrylic pen and made masterpieces, so I will go find that. Did a bit of pointillism (dots of color put together to create pictures) so gives me a new venue to explore. The pens fit inside my portable easel drawer, which makes it convenient. Drawing provided is first draft stage since it needs touch up and some shading to 3-D it. Need another set of acrylic markers that have a different hue of orange, gold, to add those touches.

I bought this as a present for my son since he loves to draw. He is so happy with them. The colours are vibrant, they don’t streak at all, and you can use them on different types of materials. He loves drawing on canvas as well as rocks. These have been a big hit!

Darker colors have good coverage, some lighter colors need a few tries to cover over anything dark. All the ones I used are still going strong. I'm not usually a fan of the pen on one side, brush on the other types, but both sides work well.
