I just finished painting my 2-story house exterior with this 180-swivel joint attached to a 30-inch extension on a Grayco X5. I read reviews and it basically seemed 50/50 whether or not it would do good or bad. For me it worked pretty damn perfect. I tried not to over work the movement so as not to loosen it up and get leaks, but it did move a lot and still had no leaky issues. It comes with 2 rubber gaskets inside and they worked fine too. Cleanup was really easy to. After finishing 1 coat primer and 2 coats of paint I think this is a awesome little tool to make the job easier. I highly recommend this and the one piece of advice i would give is really think about what length of extension you might need cause honestly the 30 inch is great for really high spots that are hard to reach but a 10 or even no extension would make the majority of the painting easier if you're in tight spots.

What l want

This worked out great. Was painting a chimney stack and was able to use this to assemble a 20 foot extension on the airless sprayer so I could stand on the deck and avoid falling off a ladder extension.

This product is of marginal quality. More thought could have gone into the design. If you flex the joint too often or in the wrong direction, the joint loosens up and leaks.

We were painting our entire house. This let us get between the shed and the house (used with spray wand extensions). Almost impossible, without it. Very pleased.
