The Physix 4100 Long Arm TV Wall Mount for 32-85 inch Screens Extra Long Extension was just as described. It was easy to mount. The basic hardware to tighten the screws with the included Allen Wrench set was a big help. You will need a socket set with a cordless drill to mount the screws to your wall. I really like the way the mount looks with my 65" Samsung tv. The mount is very sturdy. I also use the vertical as well as horizontal positioning the mount offers. I have a space that's vertical that I use when the tv is not in use and then I pull out and look at the tv in a horizontal position when I am viewing my tv programs. ... show more

This was the perfect solution that allowed us to keep our antique armoire but get a TV larger than 27"! Because the bracket can extend AND turn to a vertical / portrait orientation, we are able to store our new TV vertically inside the armoire, then pull it out and turn it horizontally to watch - while still clearing the open door of the armoire. My TV weighs about half of the max supported weight listed. It works phenomenally. All the different angles provide and clear view of the TV from anywhere with exception of a wall in between. I was a bit skeptical if the mount would remain stable while the mount was fully extended but I left it out for a week and there was no compromise in the structure of the mount or wall. I have used several tv wall mounts in my time but this wall mount is the best!!,. Easy to mount and come pretty much put together, and attaching the 65" tv to it was a breeze. We mounted it in our bedroom in the corner, and the 32" long mount was perfect which allowed us to center it in the corner. This mount is well made and heavy. The wall plate is about 19 " inches long more than enough to anchor to two wall studs. Hope this helps others when picking out a wall mount. ... show more

This is exactly as described. It's sturdy, smooth, and well designed. Mounting a 100 lbs TV a full 40" away from the wall is pretty scary. You can be sure I followed the instructions, and put my full body weight onto the extended arm before I attached the TV. The wall made a sight creaking sound at first, but that's to be expected. After a few weeks with the TV mounted and fully extended, I've learned to trust the whole thing. As mentioned in other reviews, be careful to note a few things: 1.) The wall bracket is only good for 16" stud spacing. My wall had studs at 18", and luckily there was just enough bracket width for me to drill 4 extra holes. There's no way this would work with 24" stud spacing, without an extra plate behind it. Also, the instructions showed two extra screws being used at the center of the wall bracket, but who has studs on 9" centers? Even without those, I don't see any wall bracket deformation... and those other 4 beefy screws are not going to pull out of my studs. Those two suggested center screws would only be realistically used on masonary walls. 2.) The portrait/landscape rotation is great, but there are no detents at 90° intervals as you might hope. My 83" Sony's VESA mount points are not perfectly center mass of the TV, so it didn't stay perfectly in portrait orientation, even with the bracket's rotational screws as tight as possible. I'll figure something out. All-in-all, a trustworthy European product, and a great deal for $200. ... show more

    • Don’t Use for 85” Samsung Frame

The arm is strong and sturdy, but the part that attaches the TV to the arm flops around with my 85” Samsung. Also I bought this mount specifically so I could hang the TV vertically and swivel it 45 degrees for viewing. But it won’t stay in the vertical position. Very disappointing.

Works well, only think is the bracket that angles the tv becomes loose with a large tv so it’s constantly tilted down. You have to design your mount with that in mind.

This mount is worth every penny and then some! We needed a long arm for our 65" Samsung Frame TV and this perfectly fit the bill! Very simple to install, I think it took about an hour start to finish. It extends the full 40 inches with a bit of sag and leveling is a breeze. We originally purchased a much more costly mount, but returned it because it wouldn't stay level. You won't go wrong with this one! ... show more
