Absolutely great buy! The first one I bought had a memory card issue where the games wouldn’t save. This replacement is perfect. Games save and I can’t stop playing.

It's ok if you want to just play games. However the Save function is very poor; I only found 1 game it saved out of many. Plus the controllers are super cheap, you can't even read the letters on them. There are better options out there.

My dad’s always reminiscing about “the good old days” of gaming, so I got him this as a birthday present. He tore into the box, hooked it up to the TV in 5 minutes flat, and was instantly playing Contra—rambling about how he and my uncle used to beat it back in the day. His eyes lit up like a kid’s! He says the controller feels just like his old cartridge console, minus the finicky cartridges. Now he plays for an hour every night after dinner. Total win for a gift that actually gets used!

Got this retro game stick for my buddy's birthday, figuring we'd nostalgia-binge for an hour tops-turns out it totally stole the show at his house party and we played for three hours straight! We had a bunch of us crowded around the TV, fighting over controllers like kids, bouncing from Street Fighter II to Tank Battle, then diving into Mario Kart, Contra, Pac-Man, and even Mortal Kombat. There were so many bangers packed in there we couldn't pick just one-we ended up rotating through classics back-to-back, penalizing losers with soda shots and teasing each other for missing old-school combos. My friend says it's way better than another pair of sneakers-now we're locked into "retro game nights" every weekend because we still haven't made it through half the game library!
