I purchased this as a birthday gift. It was a good choice because he loved it and has been discovering so many games. It was super easy to set up. All the games are preloaded. We were worried because I keep reading that the games need to be downloaded. It doesn't even need internet and no need to download anything. Actually the person I purchased it for doesn't have internet in their house. So this was an excellent choice. It is so much easier to use than the newer game systems. However, if you are looking for the graphics of Playstation 5 you won't get it here. But, if you want to have fun graphics like the original games like super ninetendo, Sega, game boy and many many other systems. You'll have so much fun discovering them. The same color as when you played the original Mario Karts and many others. If you want to go back further in memory they have defenders on Atari type play. 40,000 games is so many we may never see them all. So many sports games you probably haven't even seen before. I could never begin to tell you how many games I saw him find on there. Even Zelda trapped in the Castle with Link saving her. All looks like you remember it if you have played years ago. Brought back some nostalgia, but too buggy and too cumbersome. There are no instructions as to interface and the frustration is growing too fast :-( Great idea, but not the best way to approach it. Very many games, but they are in many languages just sorted by system and alphabet.

Pros - Hooks up easy, interface is easy to use, decent game selection for each system. Controllers are ps5 mock ups and while light, do not feel like they are cheap garbage and they take 2 double A batteries. Cons - Playstation do not run as smooth as you would like, but they do run, but the biggest drawback, NO MUSIC ON THE PSX GAMES. Product is sleek and compact, so it connects and fits out of the way. It did not perform as described. Provided USB power cable did not provide power reliably. When powered on and functioning the display was intuitive and responsive. Some titles tested did not load properly and there were several duplicates of titles.
