Okay, here's the run down i have had this for a good while now. It drifts GREAT! you do need to wprl with the gyro, and the speed settings to find Your sweet spot. Everyone is different. Throughout all the time I've used it. I have painted it. And unfortunately had to "repair" it, atleast i thought i had too. I was using it for like the 4th time. And it seemed a little sluggish. And after a few seconds it just stopped, battery fully charged. And it stopped. So I thought it would be something like hair getting stuck in it, but it was just because of a tight "mesh" in the gearing, I cleaned it all out. And it worked again. But I noticed over time, if and a big if. It ever does that, run it back and forth. Until the clogging goes away. And its golden. Will buy again! Just beware of that! My kids enjoyed it, loved it, so yes, its fun for the kids, and adults! I loved it. Build very good! And honestly can take a beating! ... show more

My oldest son specifically asked for an RC drift car so we bought this one. The remote takes batteries but the car is rechargeable & comes with a cord. We had to play with it fist (obviously) & we had a blast with this thing. 🤣 it took a second to get use to it because it is fast & it’ll definitely drift. It also comes with a set of wheels for race mode incase you want to use it like a race car or you can take the wheels off to use it as a drift car. Set up the little caution cones & let your little ones imagination run wild. Definitely worth the purchase, the smile on my oldest boys face was the cherry on top! ... show more

Crazy fast and fun car. NOT THE BEST, but still a kick in the pants that will take up permanent residency in my collection. The Good: Radio/ remote is very good quality and fits and adult hand very well. Spring tension on wheel and trigger are perfect. Gyro adjustment is perfect. Motor ... perfect. Run time- after the second full charge and 'lights off' I got close to 30 minutes at race speed with the rubber tires on - VERY IMPRESSIVE for a 200ma battery and a car this quick! Now to the 'eh' category: *Price is way too high for what you get and compared to other really good options here on Amazon. Durability should be fine because the car is so light it has no real momentum when smacking into stuff. *ALL PLASTIC - why close to $60 for something that has a plastic chassis and top when you can get aluminum chassis and top for close to half the cost? Don't get me wrong... the "plastic" works and works very well! But, justifying $60???? NO. *This thing has a stiff rear-end - NO rear suspension. On carpet and glassy-smooth course conditions this is not "as much" of a problem, but it is still inferior in design to other cheaper options. *The wheels are another painful area to look at- the car does not come with extra rims - why? The rear tires are NON-REMOVABLE...period. Solid axle rear end with zero suspension/ non-removable tires = a nightmare on any kind of rough surface. The rubber tires and hard plastic tires that come with it are just the outer shell that wraps around the rims - the least desirable setup I've experienced :( Final conclusion: I LOVE IT! I'd buy another -"IF" it was cheaper! With all of its short comings - it takes me back in time to the good'ol muscle car era where everthing hauled A$$ but couldn't handle worth a darn and was super dangerous .... ahhh the good'ol days! :P ... show more

I've got 3 of these and the GTR is probably my favorite followed closely by the Hoonigan car. Good quality, very durable (I run into a lot of things). I like the small scale, makes it fun to drift in the house on my wood floors. Looks great too, I haven't tried any of them with the rubber tires bit they are pretty dang fast for the size. The price could be a little better but that's honestly my only conplaint. ... show more

This thing is super cool and actually super fast for what it is. Comes with slicks and rubber tires that are simple plug and play. Battery last a farely decent time on "high". Only downside, is the controller isn't the best quality. Has high/low speed, headlight/break lights on/off and gyro adjuster. My gf broke the turning knob the first time using it, just turned it too far and now it slips through and jurks the stearing the opposite way when done..so that sucked. But if you are competent then you should be able to have fun. ... show more
