Gaming console is an understatement. It is very overpowered. I say overpowered because this is more for older teens/adults. For a younger child this thing has TOO many options. Its like having thousands of games that are mostly the chill low quality older ones. however it has so many of the great classics. All in a tiny little game stick i don't like understanding the complexity of how all that can fit into something so small. As far as connectivity goes its very fast setup. No delays in response on the controllers, the controllers are pretty cheap though. Games load with no lag. My understanding it might be possible to even add games i don't know though if another emulator can be added or not, i do plan on trying. A great gift for any person that enjoys any type of video games. Or even just to have around as an easy setup time consumer. ... show more

The games work well, even if you have to play around to discover what combination of buttons or stick movement works for the game. For those that remember the older games, having twelve control buttons and two sticks was not an option. So with the much older games that used a single button and joystick, or a spin knob and button, these controllers require effort to adapt too. A good share of the games do not have an image of the game, so for them, you need to start the game to discover what the game is, if you do not recognize the name of the game. Then there is the absolute and total lack of information on how to play any of the games, requiring a waste of time to look up information online, if you can even find the information. There are two controllers, for the games that allow two players, but I did come across at least a few games that were intended to have four players, so that is a fail, since you can only have two players with this setup. Grabbed this because it has some games that I used to love to play. Although the controllers need 3 batteries each definitely worth it. Good graphics and game play. The best part about this entire system is that you don't have to be subscribed to anything to use it. It's plug and play, and quite easy to use. The catalog of games isn't bad either. I wish there were better options for the controls. I'm personally not a fan of the PS5 style, but they do work as they are supposed to. This retro gaming console comes loaded with over 20,000 classic games, and so far, everything runs smoothly. The dual controllers feel a bit cheap but are functional for these retro games—you’ll need AAA batteries for them, would have been a big plus if they were rechargebale. It’s truly plug and play with all necessary cables included, which is great. One downside: it didn’t work on an older Samsung HDTV LCD even though it works fine on an even older LG HDTV, so compatibility might vary depending on your TV (I will conitnue to troubelshoot and update if I find the root cause). ... show more

Man, this thing is REALLY cool. There are So many dang games on it. It says over 20,000.. and you know what? I believe them lol. Tons of NES, SNES, SEGA, all kinds of game boys (colors, regular, and advance), arcade specific, Artari even? So much crammed into this tiny little plastic box the size of a small remote control. Man it's tiny, mine's just hiding behind the TV. I've been playing some SNES "Zellddaa, A Link to the Past. That game alone makes this entire system worth it in my opinion. That game is soo good. I was super excited when I saw they added it. Amazing game even in today's standards of video game graphics. That's just one of the 20,000 other games I have at my hands lol. This thing is great. A bargain for the price. The controllers take AAA batteries which is annoying. They should have just made them rechargeable but that may ramp the overall price up significantly, so that's probably why they skimp on the controller having internal batteries. It comes with 2 controllers that are similar to the newest play station 5. No issues so far with their wireless Bluetooth connection to the system. It comes with a tiny USB controller reciever that just looks like a little square with a USB Connection, I had no idea what it was at first so if you are curious, that's what it is lol. Not much instructions to speak of but then again everything is just plug and play. Pretty straightforward. It's ready to play as soon as you plug it in. With so many games, it's hard to decide on one! Really cool present for kids and adults alike. I think pretty much and guy would love to get this as a gift at just about any age! Great Emulator Game system. I grew up in the 80's and had friends with the old Atari's. The 8 bit systems graphics and such. These games brought back so much nostalgia. The Arcade versions of Space Invaders and Street Fighter, etc. There are thousands of the old games from Atari, Sega, Playstation, Capcom, Activision, etc. The controllers are decent enough.
