This was my first puzzle of this kind. I found it very fascinating to work on. No glue or extra tools included. Watch out for the piano keys carefully as the instructions show them backwards – the black keys should go to the back not the front. Icould not get the top dome to go together as directed and had to improvise. The directions for the electrical were confusing so I was glad I found a YouTube video. The switch to turn the electrical on and off needs to be developed better as it is very easy to push it in while turning it on. I have it displayed in a plexiglass football case so not to have to dust it, but can’t get to the light to turn it on easily. I probably should give this only four stars, but it was my first experience and I enjoyed the challenge. Very beautiful design

This was fun to put together. It took me about a week and I enjoyed all of the intricate pieces. It came out great. My issue is with the light sensor. It doesn’t work properly. The lights come on when I turn on the switch and it supposed to stay on as long as it senses motion. It only stays on for about 5 and won’t go on again until I turn it off and then back on again. You really can’t appreciate the intricacies of the scene in 5 seconds. I tried leaving it on thinking there was a reset period ( the manual says it needs to reset for 30 seconds after it goes off) but the lights won’t come on again. I checked the battery box and it was actually warm. I turned the switch off and let it cool down for about. 20 min and it came on again for about 10 seconds and then went off. According to the manual it’s not supposed to work that way. Very disappointing considering how much time I put into it. It’s not even possible to replace the circuit board because you would have to take the 3ntire thing apart. I did a Rolife book nook before this one and had a much better experience. Update: I’m very impressed with this company. After seeing my review they reached out to me immediately, apologized and asked how they could make this problem right. Since the book nook was already assembled and glued together, there was no way to replace the faulty lights so I asked for a partial refund. Not only did they give me a refund, but they are sending me a new kit they just designed. This is truly great customer service and I won’t hesitate to buy from them again. 5 STARS!

As an ADHD girly who often starts but never finished craft projects, this is a great hyper fixation project that you can actually finish. The precut/pre-printed elements takes the research and supply purchasing part out of the DIY experience, which is normally where I burn through most of my crafting energy leaving to a graveyard of abandoned projects in my closet. The mode is pretty good quality material wise and has tons of tiny details that really bring the scene together. The only downsides are #1. It doesn’t come with glue. My advice is to avoid superglue in favorite of a slower drying clear glue (I used tacky glue, not my fav but works) cause you will need to make adjustments during the drying process. Caking on a glue stick to attached the printed portions also works pretty well. My pro-tip is to use binder clips to hold things in place while they’re drying. Flaw #2. Is that the directions are entirely pictures, no text, which can be confusing at times. Lastly, issue #3. According to my engineering father who I put in charge of the light portion, the lighting system is super delicate and very easy to mess up by either breaking a wire or not getting a connection firm enough. So it’s probably not ideal if you’re someone like me who destroys electronics just by looking at them cross eyed. Overall I had good time and was glad I had a willing victim to outsource the lighting system to!

The kit is really well made and is a lot of fun to put together! All of the pieces are labeled clearly, which is so helpful as this kit has a lot of pieces and parts. I have never built something this intricate before, and all of the parts were intimidating at first, but the instruction manual is very clear, has lots of pictures, and breaks everything down into small steps. I also got the Beacon craft glue that another reviewer recommended and it works very well and bonds plastic pieces with no trouble. You will also need an exacto knife, a pair of scissors, and a marker. Highly recommend this kit!

Great customer service! I’ve done several of these miniatures from different suppliers. The lights didn’t work properly. I replaced the battery box but that didn’t solve the problem. The lights would turn on for 2-3 seconds and then go off. The problem was in the circuit board. I contacted Vaki Vaki and asked them to send me a new circuit board. They sent me an entire new kit! With priority shipping! I got a new one in 3 days! Thank you Lydia for your wonderful customer service. I will definitely order from Vaki Vaki again.
