The quality of this paddle is very pleasing. I was particularly impressed with the cushion on the handle. The paddle surface has a texture I would say is similar to fine sandpaper, which should enhance its control of the ball. The paddle is much thicker than anticipated even though I knew I was buying a thick paddle. I am still relatively new to the sport, but I believe this paddle really is more forgiving and helps mitigate poor hits. It provides plenty of power to hit the ball out of bounds, but I can see where someone who values return speed more than control would prefer a different paddle; they should consider one of the alternate versions of this paddle for that purpose.

I was hoping this paddle would provide the control it is advertised to have and it did!! I've been playing Pickleball for 11 months now and I am a former racquetball player. I really needed a paddle that would tamp down the power I developed as a long time racquetball player. Before this paddle, I tried a different brand that was supposed to have high control. It didn't meet my expectations. This SLK EVO Control 2 Max far exceeded my expectations providing the right amount of control I needed. It also has sufficient power to make aggressive passing shots and deep serves. In short this paddle is perfect for me!!!!!!

We are pretty new to pickleball but have played quite a bit recently and tried several paddles. None of them were very memorable. This paddle was noticeably better than others. It looks great with the bright blue and white colors, and the grip is fantastic. The paddle performs well. It feels like it has more control than pop if that is what you prefer.

This paddle good for someone moving up from beginner. You get more spin, control and power. I have had a heavier paddle and liked it. This paddle is light but feels like an extension of my hand. You will like this paddle as you learn more of the game.
