Works good enough for the price I guess. The “12 hour battery life” is bs though, it has MAYBE half that. And the battery apparently runs even when it’s been powered off, so you basically have to have it plugged in whenever you’re not using it. I also wish I had known that it would only approve Microsoft apps. I was desperate for a laptop for working at home and I specifically need Chrome on my computer. I had to turn off “Microsoft S” to get it and now things run a bit slower which is ridiculous to me. I’ve had Microsoft PC’s before and could always download chrome with no consequence. Overall I’d say it’s ok, works for the purpose (business or school) but it is a bit misleading which is annoying. ... show more

First off, I'd like to necessarily preface that I have had my few share of Asus laptops and they have all marked the check boxes for outstanding quality. Don't let this laptop taint your view of Asus as a whole. Buying this junk was, to say the least, a huge disappointment. I don't know who is in the market for these kind of junktops, but if any university student is reading this, please just refrain from buying a laptop that's in Windows S mode altogether. When I got mine, it took about 30 minutes to load up and then another 2 hours to reset so I can return it. Using Google Chrome is a complete joke, (I couldn't even load Youtube without the whole pile of garbage having an aneurysm). With these specs, you'd be better off buying a less expensive chromebook. ... show more
