I bought the M2 16gb 512gb laptop from this company in "acceptable" condition. When buy "acceptable" condition I'm expecting it to be scratched up and dented but the only mark I could find was from where an old sticker used to be, absolutely blow away at this point. The one thing I did notice was the left side shift key was sticky so I removed it and hit it with some isopropyl to clean it up and now this thing is working 100% with a flawless chassis. I was a little skeptical about purchasing a refurbished MacBook, so I decided to wait several weeks before putting out a review. I was totally impressed with this purchase. I almost went with either a 2021 MacBook Pro, or a 2024 MacBook Air when I saw this on the list. While it was not in original packing, it was very well packed with an inflatable air packer. The power cord was an original Apple brand. This laptop looked brand new; not even the tiniest scratch and it still has a year and a half left of Apple Care. I heard some reviews about the 2022 MacBook Pro that were not very flattering, such as the fact that the camera is 720p while the MacBook Air is 1080p. I'm not interested in using this MacBook Pro for video conferencing, so the camera was of little importance. I've worked with a couple of MacBook Pros in the past and have always been impressed with them. Now I understand that this is not a gaming laptop, but it wasn't designed to be such. My purpose is to use it with photo editing. I have a couple of editing programs that just would not work well on my 2014 MacBook Pro. So along came this one and it's incredible. The M2 processor is fast and makes photo editing easy. The cycle count of the battery as I write is 8, but as I purchased this 7 weeks ago, I suspect that the count was either 4 or 5. And speaking about the battery, the life of this one is tremendous! I think it's advertised as having up to 24 hours on a charge depending on its use. It's definitely at least that! It also came with a Touch Bar, probably the last of a dying breed. The Touch Bar was not a make or break issue, but I do like it, especially adding Pock to make it more versatile. A first, I was a little disappointed that it didn't have the usual ports that I have been accustomed to. There are two Thunderbolt / USB 4 ports and a 3.5mm headphone jack. However, I did purchase a USB hub for it and it works just fine. The price was excellent. A new MacBook Pro was simply out of my price range. I've had a 13" and a 16" MacBook in the past and I just like the 13" for its compact size. If you're looking for a decent MacBook Pro but don't want to break the bank, then you will not be disappointed. I'm sure the newer MacBook Air is a wonderful machine, but I like the Pro and am totally satisfied with this purchase. ... show more

I just got this laptop in the mail today and was super excited for it. It said that it was refurbished and worked like new. however, the laptop will not charge past 1% and needs to be plugged into the charger at all times for it to work at all. It's saying that the laptop needs service which probably means a battery replacement. I am extremely frustrated. I am a college student and spent my refund on this laptop, and frankly, I do not have the funds to get it fixed. This is not what I paid for at all. It was very dirty and the apple logo was heavily scratched. It also had a few scuffs but at least it worked fine although I got the excellent condition and only got acceptable. I am not pleased with the way they “refurbished” it. They didn’t even clean it???
