Description

The Atlanta Braves™ 2021 World Series® Collector's Edition eight-disc set boasts all six complete games of the World Series, the pennant-clinching NLCS™ Game 6, and "The 2021 World Series" feature-length documentary. Relive every moment of the 2021 Fall Classic™ starring Freddie Freeman, Dansby Swanson, Ozzie Albies, Max Fried, Jorge Soler, Eddie Rosario, A.J. Minter, Travis d'Arnaud and more. The Braves completed a mathematically improbable journey to a World Series title. The NL™ East Division champs didn't have a winning record until August 6, and they had the lowest win total of any team to reach the 2021 Postseason™. What did the Braves do? Added talent and kept grinding! The Braves beat the 95-win Milwaukee Brewers™ in the NLDS™ to set up a series with the defending champions. In the NLCS™, the Braves took down the 106-win Los Angeles Dodgers™ in six games en route to their first World Series appearance since 1999. In the Fall Classic, the Braves faced the Houston Astros™, playing in their third World Series in five years. The teams split the first two games of the series in Houston before heading to Truist Park™. The long-awaited return of the World Series to Braves Country™ did not disappoint as the Braves took Games 3 and 4 in low-scoring, tightly-contested affairs. The Astros won Game 5 to pull closer and force the series back to Houston and more baseball to be played into November. In the third inning of Game 6, Willie Mays World Series™ MVP Award winner Jorge Soler hit a tide- turning homer with such force that it left Minute Maid Park™ and it was all Braves after that. Mathematically improbable or not, the Commissioner's Trophy™ returned to Atlanta for the first time since 1995! Includes all six complete 2021 World Series games, the complete NLCS Game 6, "The 2021 World Series" feature-length documentary, plus multiple audio options for games: TV, home radio, away radio and Spanish-language broadcast, and SLEEVESTATS™ insert with game trivia, official stats, and more! Bonus Content: Season HighlightsClinching Moments"How They Got There" Featurette

Fantastic!
Not sure why others didn’t rate this 5 stars. This is a highlight video. All the highlights of the World Series! Relive your favorite moments. Great video, interviews and commentary. Also has bonus features of all the Walk-Off hits in 2021, video of the clinching moments for winning division, NLDS and NLCS, plus a short video on the World Series parade in Atlanta & Marietta. A must have for Braves fans
Some folks gave the video a less than stellar rating because it did not deal with the Atlanta Braves season. They totally missed the point. These MLB sponsored videos exist solely as in depth records of each year's World Series. In that regard, this blu ray does a fantastic job! As a huge Braves fans, I could not ask for a better keepsake of Atlanta's ascension to the top of the baseball world. I savored every moment and will likely revisit it many times in the years to come. Highly recommended. ... show more

Thoroughly enjoyable on all levels
“My” team didn’t make the World Series this year (or any recent year, for that matter), but this is great entertainment for Baseball fans, in general, and definitely for those (like myself) who tend to root for the underdog. The narration by Ludacrus was outstanding , the interviews and replays interesting and fun, and an all around good time and good “watch.” ... show more

Great Way to free up space from the DVR
I've waited since 1995 to see my beloved Atlanta Braves win the WS again, and was keeping on my DVR, to be able to watch the games again, whenever I wanted... this set, gave the option of being able to delete those games from my DVR, and recover a ton of space, while still allowing me to watch these games, anytime I want. ... show more

Must have for any Braves fan.
This is a must have for any Braves fan who wants to relive history. There's no commercials. Just baseball. It includes the parade and Game 6 of the NLCS as well as all the World Series games. If you are a Braves fan you must get this.
