I work in IT, so knowing the specs, I wasn't expecting anything brilliant. That being said, I intended to use this machine for casual tasks like reading, or watching YouTube, maybe writing a few docs here and there. The usual. That being said, This laptop is stupid slow for 2021. The display is not great. It is like looking through some kind of mesh screen lol. I tried playing some YouTube videos, and, well, they played with some buffering and graininess. The audio is not the best, but "it works". Other than that, I think the worst part about this thing is the construction quality. I press the plastic in a little near the mouse pad, and it creaks. I try to open and close the lid, and it makes this terrible creaking, plasticky snapping noise that makes me scared to open or close the laptop at all. I think for 250 dollars, you are better off with a Chromebook or finding something else used. I would say this is ok as a last resort, but honestly it wasn't even worth only a day's wait. This was a box of disappointment, and makes me question if I should ever try one of Hyundai's cars....Ewwww

Not sure how to rate. Cant download an app no matter what i do. Cant read the instruction book such tiny print Windows gives u a choice of free or more advanced but u may have to pay for advanced. Not having a good time with this

If you are buying this and planning on using Windows 7, Linux, Chrome OS, or Android, you're golden. If you want to use Windows 10, don't buy this laptop.

This is my first ever PC and I'm loving it so far. Overall, this is a really great product, but I do have a few minor complaints. 1) Some of the buttons on the keyboard (left shift and space) are a bit messed up. The right side of one of my shifts is noticeably down-turned and is a bit harder to press because of this if you're typing quickly. The top corners of the space bar are also up turned, but this doesn't affect usage. 2) (This only happened once as of yet) When I'm on the web, all my tabs just freeze. This isn't a major problem though, as all you need to do to fix it is restart the device. First reactions: Right out of the box, this thing is sleek and lightweight and very satisfying to look at. The laptop is super easy and quick to set up. Within minutes, I was into the home screen of the product and customizing away. There are a lot of really expensive laptops out there that cost way more and do the same thing, so if you're trying to find your first PC, I would highly recommend this. Here are some more high points about this product: 1) Low price for high quality product (In my opinion) 2) Intel core processor 3) Personally, I find the click of the touchpad very satisfying 4) You can make digital art (with drawing tablet) 5) Would make an amazing laptop for a birthday or Christmas present Hope this helps!

To say the least, the HyBook received some mixed reviews here but it was on sale and I wanted to give it a try. My new M1 MacBook Air can't run a Windows VM, and I want to keep my Windows skills up. At first I was a bit put off. The initial launch and set up took absurdly long and one of the reviews here that stated that it had very slow storage concerned me. (It doesn't.) But that, it became quite workable, particularly for someone used to running Windows virtually. The screen is bright and the colors are good. I haven't tried loading Microsoft Office on it, but it runs WP Office admirably well. The networking is fairly brisk through both wireless and wired. As you would imagine, the materials are absolute economy-model but the design is good. Storage is adequate, though I loaded a high-speed 64 Gb microSD in the card slot, where it sits flush to the case. I am hoping this will run Windows 11, but am not sure if has a TPM chip. Meanwhile, I have to say that I'm a bit happier with this than I thought I'd be.

It's small and lightweight. Just what I was looking for. My wife's 15 inch HP is a behemoth. Really heavy. This one has a nice bright screen. It's surprising how bright it gets. It's reasonably fast to boot, considering it only has 4gb of RAM. I'm trying to find out if that is expandable at all. I'm guessing probably not. Anyway, it does exactly what I needed it to do. My particular browser of choice takes an age to load. But Epic Privacy Browser is a rather extremely hardened version of Chrome. Google does not live on my machine. Nor does Amazon or any type of social media whatsoever. I have Epic Privacy Browser, VLC media player, NordVPN, and Audio Inventory Converter to rip my CDs and convert them to FLAC files to play over my WiFi speaker network and that's it's. 4 programs, no more. Before I ever connected to my WiFi network, I spent an entire day locking down, and disabling, as many Microsoft features as possible. Starting with Microsoft Edge. I am totally in love with this little tyke.
