It seemed to work very well internally from the small amount of time I used it. Super fast and a good value of the money. The downsides to me were it being aesthetically not up to par. The top and bottom had full vinyl metal-looking stickers to cover up what I assume were scratches on the body. In addition, the left side of the body near the trackpad had a deep cut in it that could cut you if you ran your hand too hard over it. I returned it because it wasn't "refurbished" quality to me, but if that stuff doesn't bother you, then take advantage of a heck of a deal for this workhorse of a computer. Great build quality and technical specs however the wifi is inferior to earlier generations. My MBP from mid 2015 has better wifi strength under the same conditions while this M1 max model takes ages to load a single web page unless Im only a few feet from the router.
