I love my MacBook Air. It was easy to setup, it’s lightweight, it’s good quality and had minimal wear and tear for a refurbished product. The battery life doesn’t last as long as i anticipated and have experienced with other apple products but I mainly use it at home so it’s not typically and issue.

    • A Disastrous Purchase Masquerading as a “Deal”
DO NOT BUY! I rarely leave reviews, but this MacBook Air deserves a warning label for anyone considering buying “renewed” devices off Amazon. What I received was a 2020 MacBook Air that looked acceptable at first glance—but within weeks, it became almost unusable. The laptop pinwheeled constantly, froze while opening even the simplest apps, and performed so poorly I couldn’t even run Apple’s standard diagnostics. The fan would spin at full speed just trying to boot into recovery mode. Eventually, I had no choice but to bring it to an Apple Store for a professional assessment. Apple’s technicians verified exactly what I suspected: catastrophic battery failure. Not mild degradation—full-blown failure severe enough to prevent proper diagnostics from running. Apple also discovered that the previous support call about this machine (months before I owned it) wasn’t even made by me, meaning whoever sold this laptop clearly knew it had serious hardware issues. Apple’s proposed resolution? A full battery replacement at my expense, since the device is out of warranty and was clearly dumped by a reseller hoping no one would look too closely. This purchase was misrepresented, defective, and ultimately a complete waste of money. If you’re considering buying a MacBook through Amazon’s reseller marketplace, do yourself a favor: don’t. Came in almost perfect condition! A few little scuffs here and there, but I’m not complaining! Also works amazingly, the perfect upgrade from my Chromebook! EDIT: still really love this laptop! my one and only complaint is the advertising is wrong! They sent me a 2019 instead of a 2020. Otherwise I would still recommend this product! :) ... show more

Macbook came in what looked like good condition but it overheats and runs very slow, the fan is also super loud. I can't figure out how to return or replace it with Amazon.
