First- I was super impressed with how well this worked.... until I tried to unplug it from the outdoor safe heavily rated expensive extension cord..... it smoldered and melted together. So not only was it a safety hazard- but now I'm out a $50 extension cord and the heater. Okay so Amazon replaced this with a second one. I double checked to be sure that I hadn't missed anything and was following all guidelines given that the first one caught fire. The SECOND ONE CAUGHT FIRE THE VERY FIRST DAY I USED IT. These work great. But of course they should be good at heating things up given that they catch fire and fire is known to heat things. Never again. Now I'm out a pool, and an extension cord.
