I did not do heavy washes on them so I have not observed any buckling or warping, but I feel that they can handle water pretty well because they are fairly thick. I also love the cold press texture, it's very subtle. My husband was really impressed with the card I made for him.

My friends bought this first for kids craft day. Then i bought it. It is reasonable for the price, great size to make small card and bookmarks. Good quality paper for sure. It is fun for kids craft day.

I like this set, I’m just getting into water color after not having done much art for years. I bought this set with the intention of making gifts for friends and family. I may use it to make pieces to sell at a small local craft fair. The card paper is good and heavy, I found the painting goes better if you wet the paper with a little clean water first, same goes for the book marks. What I like about the bookmarks is they have a hole pre punched so if you don’t want to use the plastic protectors that come with the kit you could still use the tassels . I wish the color options for the tassels matched my color esthetic more, but I’ll make it work. The envelopes are the kind that have the tape on them so no licking which is nice. Overall I am enjoying it. I’ll add pics of what I’ve made with them. I used both watercolors and acrylic markers with this and found the paper worked well with both.

Holes in bookmarks way below the holes in the sleeve. Had to cut off the top of the sleeve and poke a hole through in order to make the tassel work. good paper and cards, but sleeve had to be modified or cut paper to fit sleeve

I am pleasantly surprised with the quality of this kit. I like that the paper is thick and has a nice texture, the protectors are a good size, and the cards come prefolded. When I ordered this kit I realized that the paper was paper ---- not made from cotton, but regular paper made from wood. I did not expect it to handle watercolor the way 100% cotton paper would, and I was correct. Using watercolor paints on this paper tends to make the paint uneven and somewhat blotchy. I ordered this kit for the kids to decorate with their markers, crayons, stickers, and colored pencils. The paper works great with those and the kids are actually enjoying making their thank-you notes this year. They wanted to include a bookmark with some of their notes as a surprise but found that while the bookmarks and cards fit into the included envelopes, the PVC protectors will not unless the top of the protector is folded down about 3/4". It works, but once the PVC is folded the crease remains. Mailing the PVC protectors flat requires a different size (5" x 7") envelope that is not included. The PVC bookmark protectors are about 2 1/4" x 6 3/4" so the 1.9" x 5.9" bookmarks slide right in without any trouble. The protectors have a hole punched in them and the bookmarks do, too, but when placing the bookmark into the protector the holes do not line up. I was able to minimize the problem by not pushing out the pre-punched holes on the bookmark paper so, unless you look closely, you don't much notice the extra hole. The tassels are bright and work well with the bookmarks. They aren't the fullest tassels but are adequate with no shedding. The cards and envelopes are 4" x 6" which make them a good size for thank-you cards. The smoother texture inside has made it easier to write the sentiments with a regular pen or pencil. The paper is thick and the two sides have different textures with one side looking similar to cold press and the other with less texture. The color is a soft white. Overall, an excellent kit for kids' art.
