I got these bird spikes to stop our two budgies from landing on one of my kitchen cabinets. Initially, it worked well for about two days since our budgies are usually scared of new things, including toys. However, they quickly adapted and can now land on the cabinet again. The spikes do discourage them to some extent, but they don't completely prevent it. If you're looking for a deterrent, these might help, but don't expect them to be a perfect solution.

The plastic spikes are very rigid and pointy. Seems to be keeping birds from rebuilding their nests on top of my outdoor speakers, but I'm using them in combination with another product that uses long metal spikes (see attached photo). I used construction adhesive (liquid nails) to install them. If I had to choose between the two, I'd rather go with the metal spikes.
