A small cardboard package arrived with no label saying the contents were alive and the only insulation was bubble wrap. Opening the small water-filled plastic bag was difficult and I only counted 5-7 fish, one floater and no plant as advertised. After transplanting to our outdoor pond, they disappeared and I have not seen any since. The pond still has mosquito larvae so this was a waste of money. ... show more

The fish came in all live and well, they acclimated quickly too! The package also came in sooner than expected (thank you). Only thing that wasn't right was the absent Hornwort plant that is advertised (perhaps take down the picture and advertisement if it is no longer available). Fish were double bagged and put into package with foam all around inside to fully protect! Outside of package was marked live fish and handled with care. No damage to package at all. Received earlier than expected. Got couple extra than purchased and only one was dead upon arrival. Still received what I ordered plus an extra. Transitioned well. Came with pamphlet that has instructions, information about the stuff in their water they are received in as well as what to do if any are dead, damage to package, etc and how to contact them. ... show more

All fish came in alive and healthy. Although, I only received 15 fish instead of 20; and like many others there was no hornwort included. Also, even though the fish were all alive I was a bit disappointed with how they were packaged. The bag of fish itself was well wrapped with bubble wrap, but the bag was leaking a bit. Also, the box was quite a bit bigger than the bag with no packing paper to minimize jostling. Lastly, there was no “live fish” etc sticker on the box to ensure it was handled with care. ... show more

Bought 8/27 and deliver 9/4/25, I was concerned that they could make the trip alive. The good news is they all made it and now they are happy in my 1,200 gallon four foot deep pond. Great company. 👍
