These bags are defiantly tough. They arrived and were placed on my porch in a box that had been totally demolished - like some wild animal had ripped through it all. Even the box containing these trash bags was totally destroyed. BUT - all the bags remained in their 2 tightly woven rolls. This was a terrible delivery on the part of UPS. Terrible. ... show more

These bags are fairly tough. They hold kitchen trash well but are prone to ripping if the corner of a sharp box (we are talking thick, strong cardboard) scratches along the bag. We are a family of four and use at least one bag per day. These Glad force flex are the only bags I have used for over a year now. I like that they are scented and are fairly reliable. I really like the fact that the bag stretches over my 13 gal, non fancy, trash can without ripping at the seams. If the plastic was a bit thicker I’d give it 5 stars. But they are a good balance between not taking a gazillion years to biodegrade and holding my garbage reliably. ... show more

These bags are the best for big trash bins like the ones from Kohler that are sold here and at Costco. Of course you can use a smaller bag, but you're always going to have to deal with squeezing all your trash in and pushing the "other" bag beyond its limits. Do yourself a favor and buy this bag! It gives you peace of mind with the extra room. You can tie the bag up easily and it won't rip or leak as you transfer it to its next destination. Extra thoughts: It has great capacity weight-wise too, I would estimate some bags of mine weighing up to 35 pounds and I've had no issues at all. I've been using a version of this bag since around 2016. Sadly it's really hard to find in local stores, so you've gotta be mindful of timing additional orders. ... show more
