This is a pretty decent fabric to use for sewing practice. I normally practice by taking my worn out clothing that is to beat up to be donated and repurposing it. Since I have started working more with patterns, I wanted a fabric that I could use more easily when creating Practice pieces that would be sewn and then disassembled. This is been working pretty good for that. It is not the cheapest for a yard, but the fabric is held up pretty well to multiple uses. This fabric is of decent quality for the price. It came quite wrinkled with many creases, though, so you will definitely need to iron before you sew with it.

I was afraid this material would be thin and see-through, but I was wrong. It’s very lightweight as far as overall weight, has a nice drape for a broadcloth and is completely opaque. I’m making quilts for Christmas and this will look nice in my grandaughter’s.

    • Nice shirt weight cotton
Color: Candy Pink 14-1911 Tcx
This is a light shirt weight cotton. It had a bit of slickness at first that washed out. After washing and hang drying, it didn't pucker or wrinkle. I haven't sewn with it yet but it will make a nice blouse.
