I love these baskets. I stacked two just under my new kitchen cabinets. They fit with a couple of inches to spare, for me. Your mileage may vary depending on how much space you have between your countertop and your cabinets. I use them to hold and organize snacks and keep them ready to access on my countertop. The initial assembly is easy and intuitive. They fold out and slot together, then a few screws with rounded end caps secure the sides with the back and front of the basket. I did need to squish one set of the fastener tabs closer together with a pair of pliers gently to be able to screw the rounded ends on the screws. They weren't able to quite catch the screw until I did. I ended up leaving the fasteners off of the front panel and it folds down giving really easy access to the interior of the basket. With the indentations for the ball-feet in the bamboo board, the top shelf isn't going to slide around at all. The little plaque for labeling the baskets with a white marker is really cute, too.

Using for potatoes and onions; top shelf is for snacks. This is perfect for the top of a low cabinet I have that had “wasted space” on the top. Looks good and is useful. Very pleased.

I love these baskets. I love how there stackable . The bottom of each basket comes out so you can clean them or not use them at all. I love using mine because it traps the onion and garlic peels . Very easy to assemble

I'm really pleased with this purchase. These are easy to put together (you can finger-tighten the nuts and bolts, but I recommend having a phillips head screwdriver and wrench handy to avoid any rattle), and the lids have little divots in them so you can stack them and the top one won't side off. Nice big openings and they look good too, which is good if you have small cabinets like I do and need to leave them on a counter! They also come with little metal labels which you can install or leave off as needed (again a wrench would be handy to "clip" the label off.)

There are spots in the wooden top to secure stacking & help with sliding. It looks like the picture. Plenty of room for 20 lbs of potatoes in one container. You will need chalk, chalk pen, or label but otherwise true to the description & came with an extra nut/screw just in case!

These are very pretty and much larger than I expected. When I bought them my pantry was in just a shambles which tends to happen when you have four children who never stop eating! However since buying them my husband completely and totally overhauled my pantry for me and organized it and placed two cardboard boxes to hold canned goods where I was going to put these baskets so that put the kibosh on that. It took me a little while to find a good place to put these because storage in our home is very limited. I finally found a place in the secondary shelves that we use as overflow pantry shelves in the laundry room. They look very nice there though I'm not sure I will be putting the potatoes and apples and other produce in them in that place as I had planned to do if they would have been in my pantry just because that's where the washer and dryer is and I don't think they would stay very fresh. However they do look very nice and will work very well for certain dried goods and cereals and chips and things. I will eventually be replacing the cardboard boxes at my husband's place in our pantry with these when I add cans storage as I am planning to do to the pantry. I cannot speak on the sturdiness of these as yet because I have not had a chance to put the screws in but I will say even without the screws when I slid them together they held pretty well. They look very nice one on top of the other or next to each other. I will say that the metal labels that hang on the front do not stay terribly well. When I went to move them from the table where I had unpack them to the laundry room the labels fell right off and I noticed that they weren't sitting flush onto the basket. I may ask the husband to zip tie them or find another way to keep them on there or I may just take them off all together since I don't see them being necessary. All in all I will give these baskets four out of five and would recommend them.

Very well made, easy to put together, unfortunately did not fit under my cupboards stacked because even if you don't count the handles it is over 8 inches tall. With the handles (that can't be removed) it is 10 inches tall. Will have to return.
