They are much more sturdy than I expected (they will last me several growing seasons) and were excellent for starting seeds! The dome is tall enough to use small starting pots as well if you take out the cell tray. I was even able to put solo cups inside to start my tomato seeds! I will say that the condensation that collects on the dome drips down the sides and leaks out all over the table but it wasn’t a big deal for me. These trays, domes, and pads were just what I was looking for. My local nursery was carrying trays that were ridiculously flimsy, to the point that they tore when you were just trying to separate them. These trays could be a little sturdier, but they are fine, the domes are sturdy, the heating pad works as described. They trays are the right size for my planting pods. And the trays are a good size, not so big that they fall apart and split when you pick them up. ... show more

I honestly expected when opening this that the seed tray and dome was going to be flimsy like all the rest I have ever had and the majority of the price was being for the heat mat. BUT, in all seriousness it is made of some seriously great quality and I could see this being use multiple times before it breaks down.     • Lid leaks
The only issue that I have is that water leaks out from the side of the lid. Which for me caused it to ruin my table because the water leaked onto the heating pad.

The trays are much thicker than the big box stores sell, and don’t twist like less substantial ones. It was very easy to set up. One bulb didn’t work, so I emailed the company, then screwed the bulb housing in better and it was fine. The company responded in two days to help, but it was working great by then, and continues to help my baby seedlings. Highly recommend! ... show more
