I used it recently for repairing leaks in some of the flexible, 3/4" sprinkler tubing in my yard. The silicone tape sticks to itself really nicely and creates a good, strong seal when applied in multiple layers wrapped tightly. I've used it for re-wrapping bike handlebars and many other repairs where strength and flexibility are key. My only knock on it is that it's kind of difficult to use in tight spaces, as it needs to be stretched out to adhere well, and there's a plastic backing on the tape to prevent layers from sticking together. That backing sometimes gets in the way of the wrap. Or maybe I just haven't learned the advanced user tricks. Anyway, for me it's a valuable thing to have around my workshop. ... show more

used this to try to seal an inline water filter for my house as a quick fix until i could work on it but this just doesn't work for this application the water still finds a way out. like other posts say it is only adhesive to itself so it does not stick to anything to create an air/water tight seal.
