  • works good
Style: HDMI switch 4 in 1 out
The Giantmatrix 8k ultra switch works pretty good. I get a 4k 120hz 10 bit hdr signal out to my monitor from every port. The remote and the ir sensor work well. There was no power supply only a usb a to c cable. my tv and computer have usb ports so not a big deal. The case is made out of metal and feels sturdy. I did have to send back the first one due to some discoloration on my screen. The second one works fine. I am a part of the vine program on amazon so. I was provided this 8k switch for free. The only thing asked of me was to give the product a review on amazon. These opinions are mine and not influenced by anyone else. ... show more

  • The unit sent to me works.
Style: displayport switch kvm dual monitor with...
I am very pleased with this product because it worked. Very easy to set up and the form factor is nice and the build quality is solid. I firmly believe it is not possible for these sorts of products to have zero issues (I'm sort of joking) and the first included DP cable they sent didn't work, but they send four and you only need 3 hence the four not 5 star rating. I would very much prefer these things to have a cheaper cord-free option so you can get cords better than the absolute bottom of the barrel cords these sort of products provide, but it's not an option. This is the third similarly priced KVM 2/2 product I have bought. I want to use one KB, One Mouse for my work laptop and my gaming PC - it has to drive 4K/144hz video (they all say they can, this is the only one that I haven't had issues with). So - this one worked so I would recommend it. I'm under no illusions that this is better than any of the others, I think I just won the build lottery and got one that doesn't have manufacturing flaws. As you will note from reviews on this type of product it will likely stop working at some point but after 5 days it has not. The below product should be avoided for the reasons in my review https://www.amazon.com/CKL-DisplayPort-Computers-Keyboard-Peripheral/dp/B09STVW821/ref=sr_1_3?crid=223G5RQNMPCZ1&keywords=CKL%2B2%2BPort%2BUSB%2B3.0%2BKVM%2BSwitch%2BDual%2BMonitor%2BDisplayPort%2B1.4%2B4K%40144Hz%2B8K%4030Hz%2Bfor%2B2%2BComputers%2C%2BPC%2BScreen%2BKeyboard%2BMouse%2BPeripheral%2BAudio%2BSharing%2BSelector%2BBox%2C%2Bwith%2BAll%2BCables%2B(622DP-4)&qid=1694148239&sprefix=%2Caps%2C285&sr=8-3&th=1 ... show more

  • Worked for me at 2K, 144Hz
Style: displayport switch
I have 2 PCs connected to my monitor, but I was afraid of wearing out the joycon controller on my monitor by constantly switching inputs. I tried a couple of expensive KVM switches, but I got screen glitches at 144hz. This little switch did the job for what I needed, and I really didn't need to switch keyboards and mice, so a KVM was overkill anyway. BE AWARE that cable quality and cable length are important. DisplayPort is very fussy. Use 5 foot cables. 6 foot cables caused the monitor to blink at 144hz, although they worked fine at 100hz. They also need to be good quality DisplayPort 1.4 cables (usually denoted by an '8K' logo on the connector). I ended up using two 5 foot cables between the switch and the PCs, and a 1.6 foot cable between the switch and the monitor, to keep them as short as possible. I mounted the switch to the monitor pedestal with a zip-tie as shown in the photo. These are the cables I used: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09TVY3N8J I ended up using tie wraps to attach the switch to my monitor's pedestal (see photo). ... show more

  • Works fine with DP1.4 BUT 5V USB power feeds current from mobo after turning off
Style: displayport switch
Works fine with DP1.4 BUT 5V USB power feeds current from mobo after turning off as another reviewer mentioned plugged in his laptop. PC only setup shows this on mechanical backlit keyboard on all F keys. Slight power hue (current feedback from 5V USB) what doesn't exist without this switch in loop may or may not be a problem. Turning off PSU switch gets obviously rid of it, the only way to be on save side since the reviewer indicated destruction of his slow spinning fan & LED in it. ... show more

  • CAREFUL WHAT YOU ATTACH!! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SUPPORT AND INFO
Style: displayport switch kvm dual monitor with...
I have purchased one of these KVM switches, hoping it would work with my Samsung Odyssey g9. Many other products did not work, and I was happy to see it work great!. HOWEVER- When attaching more than two usb devices, in my case a mouse, a keyboard, and (usb flash drive, webcam, literally anything else), the product rapidly power cycles indefinitely. As if power is not sufficient for the device. I have found through research both devices must be attached and powered via usb (One of my devices is a laptop dock, which i was able to work around). The power plug on the front seems to have no impact on this...but have used several plugs since none were provided with no luck. I was also careful to disable the kvm trigger via the indicated keyboard and mouse plugs...nothing seems to avoid this. The biggest diappointment is with the customer service. No specs were given when I asked support for expected power draw, design, etc. After fighting back and forth for a month with support to find out if this product could perform where others could not...I caved and bought a second, with similar experience. I contacted support yet again and was advised that if i was not satisfied then return the item... At this point it was past the amazon return period...and was told that they will be working on "improving their product in the future". So I am sitting here with a rather large paperweight, as it does not work as advertised. Be careful when inspecting this item to make sure it fits your needs before the return period expires!! ... show more

  • Decent
Style: HDMI switch 3 in 1 out
It's a nice little mixer that works pretty well. It's small and discreet, but has a big enough button and IR receiver. I was a little concerned about quality control since their image has such a glaring spelling error that I can't not see it. Ultimately, I would've rated it 4 stars, but I deduct a star because I'll always know that the company didn't take the time to proofread their ad, so I'll be wondering what other corners did they cut, and assume this is the problem first when issues arise. ... show more
