I got the white LED so that I could put it on a pole outside my solar battery bank. Measured it against a standard VOM, and was within .05 bolts of the VOM. Excellent results. Now I can check on my battery levels at night to see if I need to switch back to the utility or I need to go crank the generator. Some complain about the small wires. So far its GREAT. I did tape around the clam shell joint and silicone it, along with the hole for the wires. Just trying to prevent water getting inside. I also used a sharpie to color over the lettering on the outside of it. I wanted it all black.

Extremely easy to read having large digital display. When lucky enough to get a good one, they are accurate within about one-to-two hundredths of a volt — as measured with my $500 Fluke ET-88 multimeter. Comes with adhesive mounting tape. Has 3-foot wire leads appearing to be about 22-26 AWG gauge wire. With small gap in housing where wires exit the plastic housing, a dab of silicone gel should seal it to becoming waterproof. One downside is there is no ON-OFF switch, but perhaps unnecessary since another Reviewer on Amazon noted the amount of the slight draw when connected constantly. However, the 2nd digital display meter was not as accurate as the first one; see attached pic. I ranked this a 4-star because of the 2nd display not being accurate enough —- close but not as accurate as the first one. They come two display meters to a package. . I have included pics and video to demonstrate my claims in this review. I highly recommend this product, even if you have to return-and-reorder until you get two good ones. However, I have had this product only a few days, so I cannot attest to its longevity yet. I'll update this review if the product later fails in some way in future. ... show more

Great little voltmeter. I purchased these in a 2 pack. Nice large bright green display with 1-digit accuracy. I mounted one of these on my motorcycle to monitor my stator charging voltage. I am able to easily see the readout even on a bright sunny day. Hookup is simple there is just a positive and negative wire to connect. The display takes about a second or two to initialize. The displayed voltage is accurate, I verified and compared it with a quality DMM. Housing is a nice solid plastic. I mounted the meter with 3m tape and it holds securely. These voltmeters could literally be used to monitor voltage for any 6V or 12V system. The attached wires seem to be around 20 gauge or so and are about 36" long. Great little voltmeter. ... show more

Affordable digital voltage meter that will get the job done though im not exactly sure if the calibration is off at lower voltages (12v-14v) but when I switched over to lithium from AGM and upped my charge voltage to 15.3v the biggest difference I saw was .6v when double checking with a couple other DMM's. ... show more
